Welcome to Randleman, Ray Ray's! Yesterday we visited for the first time & we're back again today! Parking is nice & accessible. When you first enter, you order in the front, fast food style, then seat yourself until they call your name & they'll bring it to your table. The menu is small- medium size, but with this good food, nothing more is really needed. The fries are perfectly seasoned, the slaw tastes really fresh, & the mac-n-cheese is good in spite of being a mix. Good quality. The environment was nice, appropriate & clean. Yesterday was completely slammed, yet the employees were friendly, competent & efficiently navigated the crowd in a very timely fashion. Today wasn't quite as busy, but I was probably most impressed that the employees stayed busy cleaning the dining area, welcoming & positively interacting with patrons & offering refills. A lovely young lady, Kala recognized us from our prior visit & was positively beaming & friendly. She exuded pride, optimism & positive morale in her workplace, which was a breath of fresh air. GM, Kevin Fryer, came to our table, warmly greeting us, thanked us for coming & asked about our experience. The customer service was positively impeccable! ... And then there's the frozen custard, not to be confused with soft serve or just vanilla ice cream... just do it! ...
Read moreLet me tell you something: I bit into Ray Ray’s chicken sandwich and immediately questioned every other sandwich I’ve ever had. Like… what was I even eating before this? Lies? Regret? Sad poultry?
This thing is juicy enough to make you cancel your plans and write poetry about chicken. It’s like the bird was raised on spa water and compliments. Then came the crunch — loud enough to startle nearby pigeons. I swear someone at the next table said “was that thunder?” No, Brenda, that was my sandwich.
Now the spice? Oh, it doesn’t play. It’s not just hot for clout — it’s got depth, character, maybe a Netflix deal. It creeps up, taps you on the shoulder, and says, “Hey, we’re doing this,” and suddenly you’re sweating just enough to feel alive, not enough to cry (unless you get the “Fire Cluck,” which is a different level of spiritual journey).
And the pickles? Zingy little slices of joy. The sauce? A creamy masterpiece that deserves its own Instagram page. The bun? Soft, squishy, and holding it all together like the mom friend in a group chat.
In summary: Ray Ray’s didn’t just make a chicken sandwich. They made a chicken experience. Bring napkins, bring friends, bring emotional support. You’re...
Read moreAbsolutely the best food you will find in Randleman. The chicken tenders and RayRays sauce is my go to. This place just opened and I've eaten here 3 times already. Management is still figuring it out and I hope they do because this small town is in desperate need for good food places. We go to Greensboro to eat multiple times a week normally because Sir Pizza is about the only option here other than fast food. I do recommend that management tell the kids working there to not be eating at the front counter and hanging out when they are off work. It's a business, not their home kitchen. It just isn't professional and looks sloppy. This place should do very well here if they run it right because they don't have much competition. Wasn't impressed with the mac n cheese but everything else has been great. Not a huge menu selection but if you like chicken and...
