My family took me here to celebrate my birthday this past Saturday, and our overall experience was fantastic. Upon entering, you're met with a vibe that is distinctly Old World Europe- the style is Tuscan-inspired. The dining area beyond the lively bar possesses a certain elegance which is uniquely balanced with the coziness you'd experience in your Grandma's kitchen. We decided to share a bottle Chianti, which was velvety smooth and highly complementary to our pasta dish entrees. I was offered a taste of the wine beforehand to ensure I liked it, which was a very nice touch. Two of us ordered the Penne Vodka, which was delivered al dente to the table- the firmness of the pasta was just right and the pink cream sauce was out of this world. The amount of prosciutto in the dish was excellent- it was not overpowering. My brother-in-law ordered the Fusilli, which he loved, too. Although I do not recall what everyone else ordered, I remember everyone was very happy with their meals! The entrees were served hot and in a timely fashion. The bread was fresh and the glass-bottled water on the table was topped off without me having to ask- the bussers are very hard working people and very on the ball! I was a bit disappointed that our server could not take a picture of our table (we asked him and he said he'd "send someone over because he was busy") but thankfully, the always gracious Rosie eventually made her way over and took the picture for us. Although our server was on point in the accuracy of our orders, I do wish he could have been a bit more helpful when my cousin asked if he had any recommendations. It wasn't a very big deal, but we thought certainly, there must be some dishes he could have spotlighted as "all-time favorites" in particular categories in order to provide some guidance for our hungry party. I am very impressed when a server is able to entice you with the specials or a particular list of dishes that are their personal favorites or popular dishes among patrons. I wish we had left room for dessert, but that just gives us all another reason to visit Rosie's again very soon! The mix of northern and southern Italian fare can't be beat here. If you're on a quest to find a restaurant where you can experience top-notch authentic Italian cuisine, in a non-pretentious and warm, yet chic atmosphere, head on over to Rosie's!

Best Italian place around Randolph. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, and wonderful food. Rosie greeted our table herself, discussed the specials, and made suggestions. My wife had the seasonal butternut squash soup. It was amazing. She also had pumpkin ravioli. Each ravioli was stuffed with amazing filling. Our son had 2 orders of the chicken meatballs and an order of chicken parm. He gobbled it all up. Rosie was very thoughtful and had the parm rushed out, as we ordered it late. I was not feeling great, and Rosie had the kitchen make some cheese ravioli for me. I can not tell you how comfortable we were there. I have reviewed hundreds of places, and I do not give 5 stars to many places

The entrance was a little confusing to find we passed the entrance at first thinking it was for the bank next door when they in fact share a driveway but it’s not clearly marked as such. Plenty of parking when we arrived although it filled up as we were leaving. My party was sat in a stone themed room with low light ambiance and linen dressed tables it was nice however loud with the amount of people seated together. They immediately come over to see if you’d prefer tap water or bottled still/sparkling water for the table. They bring over delicious warm bread and spreading butter after you’ve placed your entree order we really enjoyed that. My party for appetizers ordered the Nona’s meatballs, the Roberto’s salad, and the burrata special. The appetizers were not as impressive as the entrees the meatballs were slightly tough , the burrata came out with ingredients on it that weren’t listed on the menu for the one we ordered off the specials menu (it was confusing) and the Roberto’s salad came with romaine lettuce instead of mixed greens like stated on the menu. For entrees we ordered the chicken parmesan, Chicken Piccata & Penne Vodka (without the mushrooms). The entrees were all good portions and good tasting for the most part. I would just note the chicken Parmesan breading was a little mushy with the bread crumbs on the outside where I would typically look for a crispy breading layer and the chicken was more on the drier side on the inside than I would like. The penne vodka was some of the best I’ve had in awhile, I will be back specifically to order that again for sure (next time I will take it just as it comes with the mushroom peas prosciutto etc.). We also ordered dessert to share amongst us all we shared the cookie dough and marshmallow chocolate cake and the cookie lava cake both were very indulgent and decadent desserts however the center of the cookie lava cake didn’t have the oozing chocolate as described (which was no issue it still tasted good.) Servers were pleasant and attentive. Pricing was fair and true to the two $$ advertised on google, not overly priced for portions. We paid $56 each person before gratuity. All in all a solid Italian place for dine in or pick up: I would definitely recommend this establishment to my friends/family and anyone interested in Italian food for dinner in the Randolph area. We also liked that they were open until 10 pm on a weekday so we didn’t feel...

Beautiful beautiful old school restaurant with a hint of family style dining. Before I start my review, let me give you guys a tip: On a Friday or Saturday night, make reservations!

On a Saturday night, an old college buddy (that I haven't seen for years) and I decided we needed carbs for dinner and Yelped up Italian restaurants and saw the glowing review of this place. We took our 30 minute drive and BAM!!! 45 minute wait.

We didn't mind as there was an old school bar by the entrance. After a few rounds of IPAs while watching the game, we were seated. The dining room is extremely cozy (read: a very tight fit). The waitstaff was on point. Our orders were taken promptly (as we already looked through the menu while at the bar), and the wait begins.

I don't know whether it was because we were starving, but the food took a while. Longer than usual. Again, we waited 45 minutes and there was still a line by the door. I'm sure the kitchen staff was overwhelmed. We weren't complaining as we ordered more drinks and had a chance to chill out and chat.

When or order was ready, it was heaven. We ordered: Garlic bread w/Mozz as an appetizer Pork Chop Murphy (my friend) Lobster Ravioli (myself)

It was delicious! Cooked to perfection.

After our dinner, a dessert display was presented to us. As full and satisfied as we were, the display looked really enticing. Sold!!! Coffee and dessert. Since my buddy is from a Hispanic background, we both decided to order the flan. I thoroughly enjoyed it, while he said his mother makes a better flan.

The whole experience was 5 stars in my book. Next time, I'll know to make reservations!

This looks like a great date night place to bring the ladies, but I wouldn't come here in a big group unless everyone is cool with just spending a lot of time chilling and chatting...
