Will's Doggn' It deli and market — Restaurant in Ranlo

First visit to Will's Doggin' It. We loved it. Very friendly staff. I had the Carolina Dog (mustard, chili, slaw & onions) and the Street Dog (warm sauerkraut, brown mustard). Both were delicious. They split the hot dogs open and grill them so that makes them extra good! The traditional potato salad was excellent, the potatoes were just the right texture. My mom had the special which included tavern ham, but they surprisingly had low sodium ham available (all their meats are Boars Head) so they were kind to let her substitute since she's on a low salt diet. She liked her sandwich and had a taste of my hot dogs as well. 🌭 😁 I had a Choice Cherry Gold soda bottled right here in Lowell, NC. I liked it, never seen it before. We will definitely be back! Holy frickin' moley!! I've lived within driving distance of this hole in the wall pretty much my entire life but tried it for the first time today. I'm going to get fat... the hotdog was soooo good (sizzled on the flat top) and the NY Italian was FANTASTIC!! It was huge, so I took half home & heated it in the oven to make, quite possibly, the best leftovers I've ever eaten.

Also, the ladies working today were absolutely wonderful. They went out of their way to be gracious & help us out with any questions or requests.

Someone's been keeping this place a secret - definitely going to be my go-to spot for all things sandwich from now on!!

This is a great "place"! It's one of those slightly off the beaten path places that you almost don't want to tell other people about because you don't want it swamped the next time you go there!

Great small business atmosphere, privately owned (I personally love knowing that I'm doing business with a family owned business) and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in deciding what to order. Absolutely try the "baked potato potato salad " - you will hurt yourself! I couldn't put the fork down and almost killed a 1 pound container!
