It had been several years since eating at an Arby's. As we were traveling across Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado, I thought it would be a treat for me and my 14-year-old son who had never eaten at an Arby's. I told him what sandwich to . He seemed very happy with the sandwich. Then, to my surprise, I opened up my sandwich, which felt a little light in the wrapper, and perhaps they were running out of roast beef because there were only a couple of thin slices in my sandwich. I was very surprised. I took my classic RB sandwich to the front and showed it to a cashier. I asked her, "Is this a kids sandwich? Or, did y'all run out of meat?" I think she was a manager and laughed a little and said, "Throw that one away I'll get you another one. Lucky for me, she showed up at my table with a beautiful classic roast beef sandwich with hot melted cheese. It was delicious! It was everything I remembered back 10 to 15 years ago when I used to eat at Arby's on occasion. The store was fairly dirty with an unreasonable amount of flies. So, in the event you ever get less than what you're paying for, just tell someone and give them a chance to...

Read moreI have mixed feelings about Arby’s. On one hand, I appreciate their variety of sandwiches, especially the roast beef and the chicken bacon swiss. They also have some tasty sides, like the curly fries and the mozzarella sticks. The service is usually fast and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. On the other hand, I find their prices to be too high for the quality and quantity of food they offer. Some of their sandwiches are dry and bland, and their sauces are too sweet or too salty. Their new steakhouse burger, which is supposed to be made with Wagyu beef, was disappointing. It had a gummy texture and a charred flavor that overpowered the other ingredients. It was also very expensive for a fast-food burger. I think Arby’s should stick to what they do best, which is sliced roast beef, and not try to compete with other burger chains. Arby’s slogan is “We have the meats”, but they don’t have...
