McDonald's — Restaurant in Raynham

Excellent McDonald's. Food came out fast and they got the order right. Place was clean and soda fountain was well stocked. A near perfect score, HOWEVER, the bathroom...

Now, as a man I'm used to gritty environments. But this bathroom was quite something I've never seen before, I couldn't have imagined something like it in my dreams. It was out of this world...in a bad way...

To help visualize, I'm gonna break this review down into the five senses.

Sound: This "bathroom" sounded like a broom closet. It was quiet...too quiet... I was pertrified that if someone came while I was doing my business I would never be able to show my face in Raynham again.

Taste: The air was thick and heavy. I don't know what it was, but you could taste something. Maybe it was the salt and oil from the fries, or maybe it was just a burp. Either way it wasn't pleasant.

Touch: This may have been the roughest part. First, I was suspicious of touching any door handle, but there was no way to open the doors without my hands, AND, there were no paper towels that I could use as a buffer. Next, the soap and hand sanitizer placement was questionable at best. Ergonomically speaking, the closest dispenser was hand sanitizer, causing confusion and mass hysteria. Not to mention to mention if you fell into its trap, you would be wasting valuable sanitizer. If you got the wrong one on your hands... It was mildly inconvient, one might even say annoying. And last but not least, the hand dryer was dated and did not have a nozzle. This caused the luke warm air to blow out onto my pants, a sensation I was not prepared for.

Smell: There was none.

Sight: What a sight behold, A sight that would make your eyes sore. The walls were yellow like fries. What made them yellow? Was it age, was it the oil from restaurant, was it is from deliquent actions like vaping, or was it merely intentionally? Whatever caused the walls to become yellow, I wasn't going to stick around to find out.

CORRECTION! ZERO STARS. NO STARS AT ALL for this shockingly horrible place of business. I mean this place is truly scraping the bottom of the barrel for chain stores. Sat in drive thru line for 30 minutes. Ordered 3 items, 2 cheeseburgers and an order of fries. Finally got to the window and they gave me 1 cheese burger and some cold fries. So after waiting for 45 minutes now for three items I was upset that they missed a third of my order. I said “excuse me!(getting her attention because she was so very clearly ignoring me waiting for some service) we’ve waited nearly an hour and you gave us cold fries and missed a burger” the woman working claimed she was the manager but she was not acting like one. Instead of trying to fix the situation as any manager in the food industry would have she ignored me, mocked me, used profanity and was even starting to use threatening words towards me. Completely shocked at this kind of behavior, especially from someone who has “earned” the rank of manager of this establishment. While I was waiting at the window for either my sandwich or a refund I noticed how the entire restaurant seemed in disarray. Trash all over the place, a visible thick layer of sludge and grime covered the floor leading to the drain and I thought I was actually glad that they messed up my order because if they hadn’t I wouldn’t have noticed how disgustingly filthy the place was and ate their grimey food. Sad. Maybe if they hired people who actually cared the business wouldn’t be...

The restaurant has improved greatly over the last few years. 1 problem that seems to never change, is 3 out of 4 times I want milkshake. I'm told machines down or something explaining why I can't get a shake. Back in the day the restaurant had outdated equipment and yes I would be leaving frustrated with no milkshake. I'd just wonder why they didn't fix the machine or just remove icecream or milkshakes from the menu.? BUT now... 2023, Restaurants looking very updated & upgraded with lasted equipment and tech inside and out. Just download the McDs app and order and pay on phone. Very convenient and efficient. Restaurant is brand new with latest tech to order,pay and what I can only assume would be new grills,fryers,warmers and even icecream, milkshake & ice coffee machines. So now I'm just really confused when I just want a milkshake and I'm told they have no strawberry or Actually NO milkshake at all. They don't have any ice cream either . Why? I ask as I'm looking through the drive thru window at what looks like a brand new kitchen complete with new machines along with everything looking new. Then this 15 year old kid just says idk why guess machines are...
