The pizza is pretty good. What's lacking is the service. It took a few visits before I decided it wasn't worth the trip for me.
The last time we were told that the order would be ready for pick up in fifteen minutes. I arrived at fifteen minutes even and continued to wait for an additional fifteen minutes. That's when I asked how much longer.
"A couple more minutes."
I'm nice, polite, but I don't mind expressing dissatisfaction. "If it's going to take thirty minutes, I'd appreciate it if you say so on the phone," I said.
What I was expecting was an apology with an explanation. No discounts, no excuses, just an apology. I didn't get it. One of the owners looked at me and said sarcastically, "You don't want it now?"
"I'll still take it, I'd just want you to be honest about how long it'll take."
"Oh. Okay."
Fine, I get it. I'm just another customer paying a measly $20 (not a customer who spends over a $1,000 annually on take-out). I'll gladly take my money to a restaurant that appreciates...

Read moreI ordered a Syrian Pocket with Chicken Kabob and my husband got the Buffalo Chicken Calzone. The pocket was good, with a great portion of lettuce, tomato and feta, the chicken was so soft, perfectly flavored and overall delicious. The calzone was flavorful, the dough was crispy outside and soft inside, it had cheese on top and it was so melty. It’s not messy, just perfectly contained within the dough, which had an amazing homemade flavor.
