What is the deal with the drive through it took 45 mins to get food; and watch out for this pothole too it took my low car out and do you think they are going to pay for the damage no. The service is sooooooooo bad! The kid Anthony that worked there was rolling his eyes and just had a snotty attitude all around it was embarrassing when my son is seeing this if that’s the type of people you want representing your establishment good luck.
Update 2/2/2020 service is still horrible, i ordered on the app and when i got there there was a white lazy who made the joke of me being a DoorDash person being here early. I didn’t find this funny and wondered where my online order was. They didn’t even start cooking it and i didn’t arrive until 12:20 where my app stated it should be done by 12:17. The freestyle machine was out 6 flavors and the misty slushy i originally ordered they stated the machine was down but honestly it wasn’t even plugged up, she stated it was because they didn’t open until 11 even though the web says 1030 and i didn’t arrive until 12. She didn’t want to give me my money back at all. Im just all around disappointed STILL. I could have corrected her then, the employees were just standing around on their phone and the lady was just full of excuses. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all still unless you go at night when they get all the kinks out.
Updated 11/15/2024 STILL THE WORST Dairy Queen around they don’t acknowledge you when you come in. I completed a pickup order and it was supposed to be ready at 12:28 it’s now 12:38 and she acknowledged me and the order is still not ready. They still lack simple customer service. With this she tried to give me cold food....
Read moreThis location has really gone down hill! We went through the drive thru on 8/12/22 at 11:25 am - almost an hour after their listed opening time - 10:30 am.
There were no other customers there when we got there so we didn't think our large order for 5 people should be an issue. After we began ordering, we were abruptly cut off and told the kitchen didn't open until 11:30 (again, not listed anywhere!!) so it would be at least a 15 minute wait for any of the chicken items we were ordering, but we could get still get the double cheeseburger now (what???). We decided to go ahead and wait rather than decide on something else for our group.
We were given our ice cream immediately and then asked to pull off by the dumpster to wait for our food. Again, there were no other customers there and we could see at least 5 other employees inside! We sat and waited for our food while our ice cream began melting all over the place. When the food finally came out we were told the gravy for the chicken was not ready yet and would be "quite a while" before it would be ready. We selected another dipping sauce and waited another 5 minutes for yet another employee to saunter out with it, clearly in no hurry whatsoever.
It was a really disappointing and off-putting experience. We felt as if they did not want our business and were trying to deter us from ordering and waiting at all. You'd think they'd be glad for a $50+ order with not a single other customer in sight in our half hour there....
Read moreI pulled up into the drive thru at Dairy Queen in Raytown and place my order. When I pulled up to the window they give me my order. When I got home my order wasn't complete. My order was missing ice cream and they make 2 my salads wrong. I ordered grilled chicken salad and they gave me fry chicken. I went back to Dairy Queen and asked for Manager. Manager said I was making your salads.How Manager can make wrong salads? She probably doesn't have any experience in business. I asked her to give me my money back for the ice cream and she did. She also gave me the 2 cards credit which is $10.00 dollars each and on those cards says "We will Make It Right "We Make Happy......for next time I decide to come back. After one week I went to Dairy Queen in Raytown and place the order on drive thru . When I pulled up to the window I gave to the cashier my 2 cards which has $20.0 dollars credit and she told me we can't take those because the signature on the cards doesn't look like the Manager signature and also Manager is not at work and we need approval. I told the cashier it's not my problem. When Manager gave me those cards she didn't tell me anything about approval. The first time when they did my order wrong I was waiting in line for one hour. I was very upset with Dairy Queen in Raytown. They have very bad customer service and they also very rude. I'm done.
