First time seeing tribute bands, and first time here at Reverb. Wanted to come by for Avatar but schedules didn't align for that one. I showed up really, really early, and got to meet some of the band members. Security was cool, I didn't have any bad interactions with them. Parking situation is explained in my little blurb. The sound was pretty okay, but for the headliner, the mix was kinda bad and the guitars were very quiet. Maybe intentionally so? Maybe it was the downtuning? I don't know. The guitars were similarly low for Issues, the second band. I didn't try any food or beverages here so I can't comment on them. The men's bathroom is kinda hidden away and I'm confused by that. The women's room has a neon sign and everything but the men's does not. Strange choice. There were also (very uncomfortable) chairs and tables there if you wanted to sit and drink with friends.

Decent venue, matched my expectations based on other venues for heavier music. No issues getting in, inside bar had good service; did not eat here. There was some seating around, opposite the stage. Sound was good, no issues with security, easy access to get outside which is always nice as most club venues never have ventilation and the Reverb is no exception. There is a full service bar outside but that bartender did not provide much in way of service.

I didn’t get food, so no opinion on that. Really fun venue to play at. Security was super nice to deal with and informative to the band. We had a great time through the whole experience. Sound and lighting were really well done. We didn’t get a sound check, just a line check, so it was hard to hear, but for myself (20+ years of performing) I was impressed the sound guy was able to get a good mix in the house. I can’t wait to play here again!

Decent venue sound quality could be a little better but get in some great talent and bands. Always something good for anyone into anything all across the spectrum and interest. They get really big named bands for a smaller area and you can get really close to the stage with a great view of any of your favorite artist or band. Awesome place primarily if you like maybe slightly heavier rock or metal bands which can sometimes be harder to find good size and quality venues for. My biggest complaint honestly is the terrible website. It doesn't look awful but it is painfully slow always; from any device now matter what connection speed is. It's just super slow and outdated. Needs some love and attention much like they put into getting bigger name bands to come to such a small area which by no means I'm sure is not easy. Some people complain about obvious things like parking but if you know the area makes sense plus it's a concert so like anywhere; any concert, any town and any state duh; plan to get there early if that's your issue. I'm sure it can be slightly irritating for local businesses losing some parking during event nights, but I'm also sure they're happy for the increase in sales and their bottom line bringing in so many people into the area from so far away. For many people that I've talked to throughout the years it's unbelievable how many I've heard tell me it was their first time and will definitely be back because of the huge names this place attracts and the great time they had. Another clear and what I feel dumb complaint from some is the air circulation which is like duh it's an indoor venue and it gets packed bc they get quality shows so just deal. Hats off doing a great job! Happy this place has lasted instead of being just another local spot if you are in the know, "Crock Rock"cough. Losing their liquor license was the nail in the coffin but happy you guys at the Reverb run things better but still feel loose and free going while maintaining responsibility. Even though not excited always about the area and location I'm always down to come support the Reverb! Keep up the good work. Waiting for the website to get addressed then y review will hands down change to 5*. The only other bigger venue in this area would probably be 1 of the hockey arenas which do get big shows but not as many with as great of talent and quality. Plus those bigger arenas are going to rock you with prices. Which also reminds me food and drink prices here are very reasonable and not weak drink either. Good bang for your buck if you plan a day to enjoy The Reverb but bad area late night to be noted. Clearly a place that attracts so many people are bound to also attract...

So, given the availability of this place versus where people live, where the big cities are and what bands come through here, I'm not too critical about most things. After all, a local show with a AAA+ band you normally can't see is a big deal for someone who hasn't seen said band before or in a long time, especially when you can't make it to see XYZ band in a major city on a Wednesday night.

That being said, this is the third time I've been here and living at a halfway point between Reading and Baltimore, I have to compare because I pay money for gas to go either way and tickets to get inside any one place.

Someone or someones here needs to really, really needs to work on the audio system. All three shows, the latest being Tallah last night on 9/19, have had serious mic issues during sets where one or two people doing vocals just could not be heard at all during their sets. Also, main vocalist audio would seem to get quiet and then loud. A lot of guitar sounds just wouldn't be audible. I know that given the size of the place, one can only do so much and there's only so much room for audio equipment, but a lot of sounds are also kinda mashed together at times.

Nothing is outright bad, but things need work. I'm not a high-maintenance guy. I'm actually a pretty cheap and realistic date. I won't lie, though. Food and non-alcoholic drink seemed to be a dollar more than it was worth. Again, realistic. Seems to be one of few venues in the greater area, so I understand a premium will be paid and I'm okay with that.

Will I come again? If/when the stars align and the right band comes through, sure. The worst part about being an adult and working nights is adulting and having to prioritize things so I can see that AAA+ band on a Friday or Saturday instead of using vacation time in the middle...

The Reverb how good Beginnings turn to Bad Endings! When they change the name to The Reverb they had good intentions with good actions and all of that is changed because of greed with stupidity! Originally they would just charge $2 for a beer now the prices are out of this world, security was nice from the beginning but now just GI Joes impersonating police officers. They enclose the bar area to be the over 21 area and the surrounding non caged in places are for those under 21. They even put up a barricade in front of the stage now which is completely unnecessary! The most annoying at this place is the ditzy bartenders and their boyfriends hanging around spending their girlfriends money on drinks, hallucinating that they're promoters. The people running this place are so stupid they keep changing the entrance originally it was in front and now they want you to go in through the smoking area in the back. Who's ever promoting for this place now is also booking the wrong types of groups attracting a seedy crowd and they're trying to recoup their losses with pay-to-play bands that never can sell their tickets. So if you're reading this Reverb promoter stop booking March to Dickory because they are going to have you people in trouble with liquor control board by drinking 30 packs in the parking lot and these people from this band are harassing patrons not to come, so they're bad for business! Lastly, there needs to be room for improvement like no more pay to play bands, realistic drink prices, booking good groups, no more barricades, no more wannabe cop security guards, free parking, and no illegal searches! They had a good business but as usual all good things...
