Xoloitzcuintle Mexican Restaurant Sports Bar — Restaurant in Reading

My wife is not a huge fan of Mexican food/tacos, so I don't get it often. Well today she mentioned how about "taco Tuesday". I thought hell froze over.... She looks up different places and Xoloitzcuintle was the first on the list. We said why not.

We get there had to go around the block as we missed that parking is behind the building. We go in and are greeted by a Spanish speaking woman. No one there spoke English. Issue is, we do not speak Spanish. We grab menus and sit, and the first few minutes we're a struggle. So the wife and i downloaded translators on our phone. We ordered, I had the tacos Al pastor which were DELICIOUS, and the wife had a side of rice and beans, also very good. We all had a good laugh and dinner...

Very cool Mexican restaurant that also has a sports bar element. Their food menu is currently available via QR code scan.

The staff is super friendly and the decor is beautiful. Each table seems to have some different piece of custom art and the chairs are unique and interesting.

Parking is available around back.

Parking is limited to just 3 vehicles. Absolutely uncomfortable to walk through a dark alley behind the store to get the main entrance. Menu was incredibly limited and food was not appetizing. Lacked flavor and seasoning. The service was slow, though the entire place was empty, and the staff was rude. Don’t waste your time....
