Pizza Time — Restaurant in Reading

We’re currently visiting from Arizona & had a taste for some pizza late last night. There weren’t many restaurants open but this one said open until 1am. We called at 11:31pm & a girl answered. We ordered our food for delivery. Asked if the delivery man could call when he arrives because our Airbnb building is locked from the outside. She said he would call & it would take 40 minutes to deliver. Our 2nd call, 7 minutes later, was to request red chili peppers & Parmesan cheese. The same girl acted confused & stated they don’t have it but had green peppers. After a few minutes of explaining what we were asking for, she said they did have it & would send it with the pizza. An hour later, still no food. My husband called again at 12:32am & the phone just kept ringing. Finally someone picked up the phone but immediately hung up. So we called again at 12:34am. The same girl we spoke with previously answered & immediately said “he’s on the way.” She didn’t say hello or anything, which told us she knew who we were. 2 1/2 hours later, at 1am when they close, still no food. We tried calling again but no one answered. We called one final time at 1:04 and an automated machine answered stating they were closed.

I’ve attached screenshots of all of the phone calls we made as proof. I’m not just a disgruntled person writing a bad review.

I’m only rating the service as it would be unfair to the business for me to rate anything else I did not experience first hand.

If i could I would give this place a zero! I ordered online at 8:30 and just got my food at 10pm and cold. We called at 9:30 to see why our order had not arrived yet and the driver said they called when they got there and we never came down but he actually dialed the wrong number. We let it go bc they said they would be there in 10 mins. after waiting another 20 minutes we called again and the first thing the guy on the phone said was "uh ohh" because yet again they forgot to send over our food. When the food finally arrived it was not only cold but the order was wrong. We called again to see if we could get some kind of compensation but instead the owner told us that it was our fault the driver called the wrong number when we gave them the correct phone number and that the driver didn't ring our door bell bc "its a bad area". We live in the historical district of reading, it is not a bad area, i have never been afraid coming home from work late at night and if you get so scared maybe you shouldn't be a delivery drive. The manager was completely out of line and rude to my husband. I never write reviews for companies bc I know we all make mistakes but this was so completely their fault that I couldn't just let it go. I will NEVER buy food from here again and I will be sure to let everyone know how poor the service is. Don't waste your time or money with...

My girlfriend and I have been ordering from Pizza Time for a while now. We had originally enjoyed their pizza but time and time again they seem to mess up our orders. We had ordered several things from their menu online a week ago and expected all of our food to come for the price that we had payed but after waiting for an hour for the food to arrive, we had been missing food. So we decided to just forget about it and enjoy the cold food that they had actually brought. Lastnight we had ordered a bacon and pepperoni pizza. So after waiting about an hour again, our pizza arrives. We open the box and it’s the wrong pizza. We didn’t care much, we just wanted what we had originally ordered. So we call to ask if there was a chance we could switch the pizzas and NO ONE answers the phone. Even after several calls. So we call back the next day to complain and the manger had told us to call back later tonight and we would get a free pizza on the house. We call and the owner tells us he can’t do anything for us.
