I'm giving 4 stars because the beer is stellar, the ambiance is chill, they've got board games but the food is very disappointing.
If the beer wasn't so awesome I would have been really disappointed. The beer is great, really top notch.
The food is microwave pizza and pretzels type stuff. Even the smoked wings we're obviously old and reheated. They didn't even toss the wings in the sauce, they served plain, smoked, warm wings, with sauce on the side. This was at 6:15pm by the way. Their sign said they start serving wings at 5pm...
The beer is really top notch. I've traded and collected thousands of world class beers over the last few years and this place makes world class beers. I had the blood orange ipa, the Oakbrook ipa, and the white Russian. All of which were amazing. The white Russian was amazing.
But the food. Seriously, the food. Don't come here expecting a good meal. My opinion, if you're not going to do something well then don't do it at all. They'd be better off offering bags of snacks and the...

They specialize in local craft beer and sodas. Food choices are several types of Pizza. Prepared in pizza ovens. Also there are a couple appetizers.
I ordered the Philly cheese steak egg rolls and Pretzel bites with beer cheese (I can't eat pizza, not their fault) and a local brand root beer. Food was delicious no complaints.
Trivia was fun.
Only minor issue is because it's crowded in a relatively small place the noise level is surprisingly loud.
I would definitely come...
Read moreI have had this brewery pinned for a few years and finally took the time to check it out. We fell in love as soon as we walked inside. Big community tables, a full selection of brews, a no-nonsense and delicious menu, and board games. What a fun surprise. Located in an old fire station, they have pictures and attire hung around to honor the structure and fire company's history. We were also grateful to meet the new owner who was tapping beer and preparing our meal. I think it worked out well that it took us a little while to finally visit. I'm looking forward to returning during warmer weather as they have loads of picnic tables for...
