Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Reading

Ordered a special online on my way home from being in the hospital so my family would have something to eat. I get it Home and proceed to take a bite, only to find a long black hair hanging between my mouth and the slice. I called the store and explained my issue and was signed at and out on hold. The “manager” gets on the phone and asks the same question. I repeat the story and he offers to give me a credit, or make a new pizza (no brainer). I request the new pizza and stipulate that it needs to be delivered. He calls back a few minutes later and asks if the order was from today because he can’t find it I. The system. After informing him that it was done online, he proceeds to tell me that it has to be picked up. I told him absolutely not seeings how The order was not made according health code. I was not the one who put the hair in the pizza, so I should not be further Inconvenienced with going out. He finally said ok. The only reason hair shows up in food is because people aren’t wearing the head caps as mandated by the State department. I will not buy pizza from...

So I’ve ordered from here a couple of times … and I ask a question that has been in my mind . For the past couple of months when I have ordered they tell me they will only take card. When I asked how come it’s okay for us to pay for our food by card but the tip is okay in cash. The lady on the phone said she couldn’t share that information with me…. I called another place and they kept trying to get my address and was going in circles not wanting to answer my question. He mentioned door dash …. I told him well I didn’t order from there so why will he mention door dash he also didn’t have an answer. I believe they are taking peoples information and are refusing to share why are me told only way to pay is by card....

I stopped ordering from Papa John's because of John H. Schnatter's racist rants but after he was ousted I started ordering again because the food is very good. I love this store because they're fast, the food is always fresh and I tried their sandwich for the first time and it was heavy, the bacon wasn't rubbery but incredibly crunchy and it was heavy. I am so glad John was ousted because I was fed up with the other incompetent pizza shops. You guys @ 5th street should be proud of yourselves because you're always consistent...
