UPDATE:
While our last company team dining at Carlucci’s left us wondering if we’d ever come back, Tommy (owner) contacted us and did what most people would never do. He owned the things that should’ve been done a different way, genuinely apologized, and made it right. Today he served my team like royalty and offered us a phenomenal dinner and experience. He is a stand up guy, and he has won over a patron for life. We need more people like you on this earth, Tommy. Thank you.
This is not just a place that makes great food. It’s a place that understands that we all make mistakes. And it’s the ability to make things right that wins the soul of people…and food lovers.
Run to Carlucci’s today.
OLD REVIEW:
We’ve been to Carlucci’s a couple times with friends and it was a good experience. We decided to have our company holiday dinner here, so we secured the private party dining area. Unfortunately a few people from our group couldn’t make it so Carlucci’s asked to move us into another room. We agreed, but did not realize we were being moved to the main dining area. Which wasn’t a problem except our view was that we were paying a per head cost which included the private setting. With this, we could have just let everyone select their own dishes in the main dining hall, ordered some appetizers and desserts…and the cost would have been much less.
The previous two times we were here with friends, the food was good. But the party buffet food that we received for our company outing definitely didn’t match our previous experience. It was “ok” at best.
When the desserts came out, they gave us disposable plastic plates and plastic forks to eat them with. For the price we paid per head, you’d think we can at least enjoy desserts on nicer table settings. First world problems, but we’re also paying for a rewarding experience for our employees who have worked hard.
The owner and the staff are incredibly nice. I just think the management could have been much more favorable for paying customers.
We won’t using Carlucci’s for any of our future...
Read moreYesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Carlucci's. I have to start by saying I don't like it..... I absolutely love it! The place is really nice. It has a casual setting and Tommy is super cool guy. The deli counter was filled with beautiful and delicious looking food. I saw eggplant rolatini, lamb chops, eggplant parm I believe. My eyes were immediately drawn to this tray in the back that looked like some type of beautiful pork belly embellished in some golden silky sauce. Tommy says to me " it's million dollar bacon?" "you're going to love it!". Luckily for me this MILLION DOLLAR BACON is only $11 of porky deliciousness. I'm telling you this million dollar bacon was fantastic, it had a nice smokey honey mustard sauce on each strip served on bed of greens. This is one of those memorable dishes that I'll never stop talking about. You may think it's jut a piece of pork but this bacon was porkfection! In my honest opinion it tasted more like 1.6 million dollar bacon. So when you go there try the Million Dollar Bacon, you're going to love it. The lady brought us some bread and oil, the bread alone was to die for. I ordered the chicken Frances with the risotto and veggies instead of pasta. My chicken was cooked beautifully and the risotto was absolute perfection. The server was super cool I wish I got her name. When I first get there I thought the place was nice and cozy. Then I see one my clients show up with a big family and I wondered where they were going to sit. Then I see them walk around to the back, all of them. There's two big dining rooms around the back too! So you can bring your big groups of friends and family and they can accommodate you. Also its byob how much better can this place get?!?!?. I'm giving this place five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ definitely coming back to try just about everything on the menu. My only gripe is that I wish I had more room in...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I stopped in last night for our first time. I read good Google reviews, so we gave it a try. We knew the restaurant was busy when we arrived, and the owner asked if we had reservations. We told him we were walk-ins, and was able to seat us after a short wait. We ordered a personal pizza (fig with Gorgonzola) and the eggplant rollatini. Before the food arrived, they gave us warm, fresh baked rolls along side a tasty olive oil with garlic chunks. I must’ve told my boyfriend five times how much I loved the warm rolls. The eggplant was spot-on, but the pizza was a bit too sweet and was wet under the crust from the fig jam. We didn’t care for the pizza, but knew they were understaffed and discussed that we’d pay them a return visit for a second meal. At the end of the meal, the owner approached the table and asked how we liked our meal. He mentioned that he thought it was our first visit and asked us to not judge the place on this busy, understaffed night. My boyfriend was honest about the wetness of the pizza and the owner explained the few reasons that may have happened. The owner offered to take the pizza off the bill which was terrific customer service. When my boyfriend insistently declined his offer, the owner us a complimentary piece of limoncello cake. The cake was light and airy, in addition to being a sweet gesture from the owner. This man was incredibly personable and notably concerned with our experience. The restaurant appeared to be full of “regulars” and everyone’s food in the nearby vicinity looked amazing (especially the scallops at the table beside us). Anyway, we totally get that busy nights occur and oversights can happen, but the level of hospitality at this restaurant was first-rate! We will definitely be back, and I can’t wait to enjoy those fresh baked rolls a...
