⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Italian-American Delight at June’s Tuttobene! I recently had the pleasure of dining at June Tutto Bene, an Italian-American restaurant that exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home, with elegant touches like crisp white tablecloths and a welcoming ambiance. The food was nothing short of excellent, with every dish showcasing high-quality ingredients and a true passion for flavor. I started with their calamari appetizer, which was perfectly crispy and tender, lightly seasoned with a hint of spice and served with a lemon wedge to brighten the flavors. The calamari was fresh and cooked to perfection, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. For my main course, I tried June’s innovative take on eggplant parmigiana, and it was a revelation! Her new version was a delightful twist on the classic, layered with rich marinara, gooey melted cheese, and a mix of unexpected flavors that elevated the dish to a whole new level. You can tell June loves to experiment with flavors, as the dish balanced traditional Italian comfort with a creative flair that made every bite exciting. The accompanying spinach added a fresh, earthy contrast that paired beautifully with the hearty eggplant. I also enjoyed a bowl of meatballs in marinara sauce, which was pure comfort food. The meatballs were tender and flavorful, swimming in a robust, herbaceous tomato sauce and garnished with fresh herbs and a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. It was the kind of dish that warms your soul. Another standout was the grilled pork chop, served with a side of sautéed greens and tomatoes. The pork chop was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with a beautiful char that added depth to the flavor. The greens were fresh and vibrant, rounding out the dish with a healthy and delicious touch. Everything at June Tutto Bene was amazing, from the creative dishes to the impeccable quality of the ingredients. June’s passion for mixing flavors truly shines through in every bite, making this a dining experience I won’t soon forget. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. If you’re looking for an Italian-American restaurant that delivers exceptional food with a creative twist, June Tutto Bene is a must-visit! I can’t wait to return and explore more of June’s...
Read moreTried Junes for the first time tonight. Almost didn’t happen as June had a serious issue with me asking my local community to give me feedback between her restaurant and another, to aid in my decision on where to try first. After making my reservation, I received a pure nasty attack from the owner/chef on the public forum. There was nothing negative in my post nor in any of the responses.. I removed the post immediately to respect her perspective and also did not want her restaurant to receive negative blow back either. After debating if I even would give her my business, my wife and I decided to try it anyway and see if anything was said when we arrived.
We arrived and were welcomed after a few moments and pointed towards our table which had a broom and dustpan still blocking one of the seats. No worries as they had just opened. The employees were all very nice and the chef even welcomed us and checked in throughout. The food was in fact very good, with very healthy portions. We both left like overstuffed pigs. They rifled through the courses with no real break in between and the check was on the table before we even finished eating our dessert. Quaint, little place and homey. Bathroom was a bit odd, hot as hell and the mirror was a small women’s vanity mirror on a table, but all in all nice place. They were about to have music play, which the set up seemed a bit disjointed, but it was kind of like being at an Italian aunts home. Overall we enjoyed the meal, service and atmosphere. Still have a bad taste from getting such an attitude over a post garnering reviews from locals and trying to support a local business. Very unprofessional as it was accusatory of putting them against one another rather than just gaining insight from people that may have experience...
Read moreOur first visit to June’s had an air of familiarity as we were familiar with the previous establishment at this location and the overall decor and layout is about the same… open kitchen, modern clean design, with a bit more density to table placement now and some lighting upgrades. But the vibe is clearly different… more welcoming and inviting. The owner is very much a presence, working the room and friendly. Service is good overall with shorter than expected wait times for both taking initial orders and getting food to the table. We had the Calamari appetizer which was plentiful and tasty with no rubberiness at all. Linguine Puttanecca was superb with rich flavor and perfect pasta texture. Penne Broccoli Rabe was amongst the best I’ve had with a delicate garlic oil sauce, sun dried tomatoes and bits of tasty sausage. Portions are very generous. The Tartuffo dessert was light and sweet and quite delicious Cappuccino was just OK and they don’t realize that ordering a double shot cappuccino doesn’t mean bring me a very big cup with a double amount of regular cappuccino. Overall I was very pleased with the meal and service. Areas of improvement would include the bathrooms which need serious upgrading and more attentiveness… (the men’s room was about 95°) and the reservation process which was a bit disorganized ……but I definitely will...
