I am deeply disappointed with Casa Ramos at the Red Bluff location and suspect they may be struggling to stay in business. As a long-time customer who frequented the restaurant in its early years, I’ve observed a significant decline in both customer traffic and food quality over the past few years. The dining experience no longer meets the standards I once enjoyed, leading me to visit far less often. My husband isn’t fond of Mexican food, so I occasionally order lunch to go, but my recent experiences have been consistently frustrating. The food is always cold when I pick it up. In my last three visits, the meat tasted as though it had just come out of the refrigerator, merely topped with lettuce and tomatoes. This forces me to return home to reheat my meal rather than enjoying it on the go, as I had planned. Considering the cost of lunch is comparable to dinner, I expect the food to be served hot and fresh. While I always tip for to-go orders, I shouldn’t have to inspect the food at the counter to ensure it’s warm. During my visits, it appears the male owner or manager is often handling everything alone, likely due to the consistently empty restaurant. After these repeated disappointments, I’ve decided not to return. Instead, I’ll be taking my business to La Corona or the taco truck near Kevin’s, where I can rely on receiving hot, quality food. Casa Ramos needs to address these issues or consider closing if they cannot meet customer...
Read moreFirst time here, we ask the clerk at Holiday Inn Express where we could eat somewhere that is close by since we are new to the area. She suggested Casa Ramos and mention you're staying at HIE they will give you a discount. We did and showed them our key. Atmosphere is great once you walk in you feel like your in a home. There's pictures on the wall, don't know if that's the family who owns the restaurant but it reminds me of my grandparents who came from Mexico because they wanted something better for their children and future generations. Service was excellent and met all our needs Mr Roberto was our waiter. The food is like Grandma's cooking very well prepared and they are not shy with their serving. We couldn't finish it and took the rest to our room. Following day we warned our food and it tasted as it was just made. Next time we travel to Oregon we will stop by again and visit this restaurant, thank you Mr Roberto for making our first visit a great time. Also we were greeted with a big "Hi and welcome to Casa Ramos" we were seated right away and gave us water and I had a Dos XX that was very...
