With a lot of choices for Mexican in town, one really needs a reason to stand out. I had high hopes when I saw a Molcajete here. Yet, inexplicably, it was served sans the molcajete bowl. Kind of odd. That said, it wasn't bad. The sauce was different than I have had before, but it was fine. The rice and beans were good as was the salsa and chips. While I always thought Casa Ramos was more an Americanized restaurant chain, their menu has some authentic surprises. Service was excellent and portions large. So a solid choice for Mexican.

We stopped in Red Bluff instead of driving all the way home. Well of course as the chef and love for Mexican food we found this restaurant by our hotel. The macho Burrito was fantastic and the pork carnitas was the best in a very long time. The jalapeno margarita was the icing on the cake and went well with my spicy dinner. I so loved this meal. The waitress was really nice and very attentive to us.

The food was excellent and the portions are ENORMOUS. The employees were very friendly and COVID compliant. Sometimes people do not treat us well at other places because my sister is Muslim. They treated us just like everyone else - with patience and respect! We had a lovely time. Love from Chico!

I am deeply disappointed with Casa Ramos at the Red Bluff location and suspect they may be struggling to stay in business. As a long-time customer who frequented the restaurant in its early years, I’ve observed a significant decline in both customer traffic and food quality over the past few years. The dining experience no longer meets the standards I once enjoyed, leading me to visit far less often. My husband isn’t fond of Mexican food, so I occasionally order lunch to go, but my recent experiences have been consistently frustrating. The food is always cold when I pick it up. In my last three visits, the meat tasted as though it had just come out of the refrigerator, merely topped with lettuce and tomatoes. This forces me to return home to reheat my meal rather than enjoying it on the go, as I had planned. Considering the cost of lunch is comparable to dinner, I expect the food to be served hot and fresh. While I always tip for to-go orders, I shouldn’t have to inspect the food at the counter to ensure it’s warm. During my visits, it appears the male owner or manager is often handling everything alone, likely due to the consistently empty restaurant. After these repeated disappointments, I’ve decided not to return. Instead, I’ll be taking my business to La Corona or the taco truck near Kevin’s, where I can rely on receiving hot, quality food. Casa Ramos needs to address these issues or consider closing if they cannot meet customer...

First time here, we ask the clerk at Holiday Inn Express where we could eat somewhere that is close by since we are new to the area. She suggested Casa Ramos and mention you're staying at HIE they will give you a discount. We did and showed them our key. Atmosphere is great once you walk in you feel like your in a home. There's pictures on the wall, don't know if that's the family who owns the restaurant but it reminds me of my grandparents who came from Mexico because they wanted something better for their children and future generations. Service was excellent and met all our needs Mr Roberto was our waiter. The food is like Grandma's cooking very well prepared and they are not shy with their serving. We couldn't finish it and took the rest to our room. Following day we warned our food and it tasted as it was just made. Next time we travel to Oregon we will stop by again and visit this restaurant, thank you Mr Roberto for making our first visit a great time. Also we were greeted with a big "Hi and welcome to Casa Ramos" we were seated right away and gave us water and I had a Dos XX that was very...

I’m on a business trip from Las Vegas in red bluff staying across the street , was planning to have dinner at this place for the 10 days I was going to be in red bluff , was very disappointed in the way they treated me , (have work in the tip industry for over 20 years as MT therapist an gourmet food server ) apparently you have to be white in order to get decent service , took for ever to come to my table restaurant was not busy , (my server was Roberto apparently he’s also the manager) he got upset when I was asking him questions on the menu , order an item that I had option for my plate , Roberto never asked me I had to wave him down to confirm my meal , no refill no napkins I had to get up an search for napkins (host stand ) , never check on me after delivering my meal, I normally don’t stiff being in the tip industry… but I did this time …!! I will call tomorrow early morning to speak to the general manager… I wish I could give the restaurant negative stars they don’t even deserve 1 star …GO TO GUADALAJARA RESTAURANT 3 block away GREAT SERVES AT...
