The Human Bean — Restaurant in Red Bluff

As a barista I'm usually a happy customer! But unfortunately I just got two of the worst drink I've ever tasted. A dirty vanilla chai with oat milk that somehow tastes like dirty water. And a white chocolate salted caramel breve latte that just tasted like straight watered down milk, no coffee; it's way too light to have coffee in it. On top of our absolutely disgusting drinks our barista had 0 customer service skills. When she needed me to repeat my order she dumbfoundedly looked at me in silence then said "what" it's so simple to say "sorry what was that" or even "sorry one more time" I really hope anyone who wastes 10 minutes of their day waiting like we did atleast gets a drinkable beverage! So disappointed! This barista needs some serious training!! Would have rather spent my money on gas station coffee. Blonde girl with facial peircings on...

I give one star, not for quality or tastyness of coffee because my coffee was excellent . But for Taylor, and her horrible customer service. First visit I said I was vegan, and she still gave me the chocolate covered bean and when I said I can't have them she looked at me like I was being rude, then the second time I asked for the other barista to make my drink and Taylor obviously got irritated and started being rude. Rolling her eyes, telling me in a condecending way that she thought I wanted a blended one mind you it's freezing raining outside. I had never been treated with so much disrespect from someone who is supposed to have excellent customer service. Pretty pissed. Finding a new coffee place and kinda bummed. Because like I said it wasn't the coffee...

Friendly girls, great coffee as always! I'd like to address a recent review. True when there's a new hire it might take a little time to remember thousands of custom formulations of drinks, how about be grateful for the employees who are there wanting to learn and work? Prices are set by the franchise not the individual owner and still way under Starbucks and a great value at that. So go spend the money for gas and drive to Chico for your $3.00 coffee and half naked girls. How nice that the Human Bean doesn't need a cheap gimmick to attract their thousands of customers! 5-6 cars on each side any time of the day says a lot.
