Hardee's — Restaurant in Red Springs

Let me first say, I haven't been this upset in years, YEARS! ITo the point my blood is boiling. I pulled in the drive through and the cashier keyed in my order correctly. She was very professional. I get to the window and paid. She asked me to drive up because they were "waiting on my meat". I did so, but in doing that i had to go around the vehicle in front of me that was already waiting. Waited several minutes. I then see a different employee coming with 2 bags of food. She hands one bag of food to the gentleman behind me. I see him open the bag put his hands IN the bag & say something to the employee. I see him give her the bag of food that he had and she gives him the other bag of food. She then walks over to my car and hands me the same bag of food the gentleman just put his hands in. I look at her and say, "ma'am I don't want that, I saw him open it." Her response, "he didn't open it." Me, "ma'am, I saw him." She then implied AGAIN, "he didn't open it." By this point I'm over it and I'm not arguing, I open the bag and tell her I also paid for a apple pie & it's not in here. Her response, "you can walk in and get it I didn't ring in your order." And walks away. In no way was this professional or sanitary. Point blank period. I left this establishment with my blood fuming. Every bit of me wanted to let her know exactly how unsanitary and unprofessional this was. Did I mention, her rolling her eyes after I told her I didn't receive the apple pie. I can't remember the last time I've written a review and hesitated to write this one because i dont like causing controversy. But, this one needed to be written. Maybe she'll see this and realize if she was in my position how would she...

I only gave them 4 stars because it was difficult to find their drive-thru menu and their exit. All the Hardee's need an overhaul and upgrade...especially this location. The staff were quite attentive and friendly. They repeated my order back to me, asked me to "please" drive up...and when I got to the window, the young lady the took my order greeted me "Good morning", then proceeded to repeat...Yes! She repeated my order one more time!!! My breakfast order of Sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, and tots was fresh and hot. And how did I know that, because when they handed me my order in the bag, I could feel the heat that cold early morning. My orange juice was cold just the way I wanted it. And after paying for my order, she handed me a receipt and asked me if I needed anything else then told me to have a safe and great day! WHHAAAAAATTTT? And when I got home, 9 minutes later, my food was still hot!!! The only problem I had, I couldn't find the exit and the parking lot was just sad. Liked I said earlier, Hardee's needs a major overhaul and upgrade of all their stores. But hey, I love the service this location had...maybe the staff from across the way (you know the one with the so-called "Golden arches") need to get some training from this Hardee's staff....

I'm quite surprised that this little fast food has become a Southern treasure... they started the whole biscuit and breakfast fad that all fast foods do now. But this local branch needs some updating. Their parking lot needs to be replaced, building outside and inside needs to redone...even their uniforms. Geez, I remember back in the 80s how this fast food chain still looks and all of their chains need to be updated and menu upgraded. But, their sausage, egg and cheese biscuit was fresh, hot, and delicious. The orange juice was chilled, and their breakfast tots were hot even when I got home. The ladies working that very early morning, 5:14am were friendly, and courteous, unlike the ones from across the street, you know the ones with the golden arches. Anyways, I have them 4 stars only because I couldn't find their drive-thru menu, and exiting the premise was kind of confusing. Like I said, they just need some upgrading from...
