This has happened three times now. The goat curry has small tiny pieces of chipped bones and it was a danger to our teeth. Clearly they didn't clean the meat properly and wash off the chipped bones. We couldn't really enjoy the food because of all the chipped goat bones and we were afraid that it was going to chip out teeth.
Update: The owner can not take any criticism and correct the mistakes. Instead, he denies it and gaslight. Seems like a classic Narcissist to me!
The fact you’re telling me that there was no chipped bones in the goat curry that I purchased from you implies that you think I am lying. Let’s use our logic here. Why would I lie about something like this? Did I ask for refunds? No. Did I ask you to give me anything free? No. Do I know you personally and have any beef with you? No. So what motives would I have to lie about this? None! What am I gaining from lying about this? Nothing. So for you to tell me what my experience was when I ate your goat curry is mind boggling. I know what I experienced when eating your goat curry, not you. Don’t speak for my experience. I have absolutely zero reason to lie about this. I wrote the original review in hopes that you will fix the problem , and I was going to come back if the problem got fixed. Instead, you deny , gaslight and take no responsibility. No one in their right mind would visit your establishment after your ridiculous offensive response.
if you washed the goat and cleaned it properly, why were there small chipped bones in your goat curry? You are a liar who can’t take a negative review. Instead of fixing your mistakes, you lie and deny. This isn’t how you run business. I know how to cook way more than you will ever know. When I make goat curry, I don’t have chopped small pieces in my curry, and I don’t use “boneless “ goat either. If you bought the goat that already came with tiny pieces chipped bones, then you clearly did not take the time to clean it and wash it properly to remove them.
I ate goat curry in Indian places as well and they don’t use boneless goat either . But, I never ever had a goat curry like yours with chipped small pieces of bones. Your reply to my review only exposes your unprofessionalism and lack of customer service skills. It shows how immature and quick to react rather than respond to the reviews in a professional way. I saw how unprofessional you were when you replied to other negative reviews as well. You need to grow up and handle criticism in a diplomatic way if you want to retain your customers. Shame on you. I will not be giving you my business and will tell everyone that I know not to go here, because you’re refusing to fix your mistakes and deny and gaslight the customers who gives you business.

Read moreMe and my man came into Caribbean Chill and Grill.... we sat down to eat. It was about 12 noon, we were not greeted by Anyone, so we said HELLO and a lady came out the back like she didn't want to be there in the first place....we went ahead a placed our order but she wasn't really paying us any attention, she was looking out the window at other people walking in from their cars to come in. So we finally get our food, it wasn't to long of a wait....my Man ordered The Curry Goat with Roti bread and I got Akai and Salt fish and we both order smoothies. He ordered the The Island and i ordered the Paradise. They brought out the smoothies and they were both the same but we didnt make a big deal about it. So now we are eating and As my man is eating he comes across a HAIR IN HIS FOOD. Plus the bread wasn't cooked completely, it was gummy. He is a chill guy so he simply took it out and sat it to the side. The waitress never came back to check on us so we waved her down.....so she examines it at the table....and she takes the HAIR back to the kitchen and we hear them in the back saying "Oh it's Goat Hair!" But they gave us NO APOLOGIES NO NOTHING. We simply left and my Man had even left her a 6 dollars tip even though the entire experience was Bad.
I have a video and if I can...
Read moreIt was our first time to this restaurant and actually our first time in ever eating Carribean food. We were a little disappointed that quite a few things we were hoping try on the menu were not available. We were one of the only people dining in but it still took quite a while for our food to out come (but it did look like there were a lot of pick-up orders in their defense). Our friend ordered shrimp dish but chicken was brought out, but due to the lengthy wait (and not wanting to waste food) she just decided to just eat the chicken instead and not ask for a new shrimp dish. Our server also seemed a little stand off-ish, maybe she was just having a bad day or that's just Jamaican culture that we're not familiar with yet. But other than not feeling completely welcome, we really enjoyed our meals. The jerk shrimp and salmon were really flavorful and just the right amount of spicy. We also thought the sides of rice and beans, cabbage, and plantains were really tasty as well. The plantains were nice a light unlike other heavily fried plantains we've tried elsewhere. The tables and restrooms were clean too. Overall, good food despite the wait time and reduced...
