Going to start off with saying I've worked fast food and other positions in the food industry. I get it, it's hard to get decent help and especially at a fast food restaurant. On top of it no one what's to work right now.
I can't believe how absolutely horrible this particular KFC is! I only go here because it's the closest KFC and I love their food. Every single time I go it's 45+ minutes because they are out of chicken and need to cook more. Mind you I'm usually the 5th or 6th car in line so not that far back to warrant this kind of wait time. If I remember correctly their order time from order to hand out is supposed to be around 5 or 6 minutes at the very most. More than half of the sides "they don't have in store". I always have to ask for an item that was missed. First time it happened it was a 8 piece and 3 of the sandwiches. I never leave without checking after that and it never amazes me that they forget something. Today they forgot 2 famous bowls and I only ordered those and a 12 piece family meal. The management seriously needs to take a look at the service rendered here. It honestly wouldn't be that bad if they would just make sure everything that is ordered in given to the customer. Long wait times can be forgiven but just flat out not putting items out to the customer is not acceptable.

My order was Chicken tenders & Potato wedges. To me a pretty simple order, but it hits the spot. Unfortunately I left this location without any food.
After paying for my meal I was asked to pull up to the exit door so that they could keep the line moving. This is fine, I worked fast food growing up and I get that some times they sell a lot of an item and need to keep the line moving. The problem is I waited, got honked at by customers who didn't know why they had to drive around me, and waited. The line cleared after 15min and I decided pull back up to the window to find out what the issue was. The girl working the window had forgotten who I was and just asked "how can I help you". I stated I had been waiting for what I thought was a pretty simple order, to be told that "they were still being made". This is just a better way to tell a customer "Oh we forgot." I was asked if i wanted something else to which I just asked for a refund. The manager was called over to approve this and she gave my receipt and closed the window.
The issue here is: Poor organization of orders. They are most likely cleared off the screen to meet times pushed by higher-ups, and then forgotten about.
A lack of any customer service. Whether it be offering a free drink, cookie, or at the very least an empty apology.

Read moreI wish I could give no stars, but I can't. Any time I have ever wanted to order from this location, they have always been out of everything. I know it's not personal, but I legit have not had KFC for almost 8 years because the KFC near me never has any stock on hand when I have the free time and money to order. The first 4 times I could brushed off. But I have tried to order from this locations almost 20 times since moving to michigan and every damned time they don't have the food I want. I have tried ordering through grubhub and even under different names, so I know it isn't personal. But I havne't had KFC since moving and I am 'UInderstandably' upset. At least I hope everyone understands. Even though it's not personal, It's completely soured any desire to eat here or any other KFC location, and I will admit that I make my issue known.
