THE ATMOSPHERE i recently visited for the first time since i was a kid and i must say, the atmosphere is just as warm, inviting, and vibrant as i remembered. when i walked through the door i was immediately hit with the sense of nostalgia and felt at home

CLEANLINESS tables were very clean and were wiped/ cleared of dishes often, staff was very quick to clear tables of dishes as well, floors were swept and mopped and even the other guests spoke at a very quiet level and not too rowdy. there were even coat/ bag hooks on the booth seats so you dont have to bunch up your coat or bag next to you on the seat or worry about it falling on the floor, which is a feature i wish i saw in diners more often. the bathroom also had a noticeable lack of odor and was quite clean as well with a reed diffuser emitting a pleasant floral scent

CUSTOMER SERVICE the woman who waited on me was very quick with menus and water, and was very polite with amazing customer service even when i requested things that were out of stock that day, she was quick to offer solutions/ replacement requests that also paired very well with my food choice. i was even provided to-go boxes for my leftovers before i could even think to ask for them. although my visit was quite early in the morning, the staff were very calm and patient despite the early hour unlike some other diners in the area. the staff here really do an amazing job to go out of their way going above and beyond for their customers ensuring that everyone who visits has a pleasant dining experience

FOOD the food was also amazing with very generous portions, especially considering the price. all food was cooked to perfection and arrived to my table in a very timely manner.

CONCERNS my only concern is that the pricing on the menu is not as clear as other diners/ restaurants however even despite that i was pleasantly surprised when the bill was much cheaper than i had expected

FINAL THOUGHTS i must say coming back to this childhood favorite diner was an amazing experience and was absolutely wonderful! i would rate this diner as a 10/10 and i will most definitely visit again sometime in the future, if you are thinking of visiting for the first time or even just for old times sake then i can promise you that you will not regret it as this is an amazing diner and, in my opinion, the BEST diner...

The Hut is always a pleasant experience. This is an old school diner, family owned. The food is always great, they care that your food is to your liking, they ask if all is good and they are sincere and if anything is missing or off they will fix it. Always have a variety on their daily specials and the amount of food you get for the price is amazing. I love their salads, the burgers, the onion rings, the breakfast, their burger sliders or ham and cheese sliders. The breakfast burritto is great but way to big for me. Love the french toast, where do you actually get whipped butter on the side anymore yet they always give you that. Love the fish dinners. Mom makes the desserts which are always wonderful. The ranch dressing is made daily and awesome. They always make you feel like your family, I love just watching the interaction of the 3 main girls that work the floor 2 sisters and another who is basically a sister from another mother as you can tell she is totally family too. They get to know you and remember who you are and what you are about and always make their interaction with you personal. Dad is in the kitchen all the time and always looking out saying Hi to his customers. This family puts their heart and soul into their business each minute they are there. If you have an event you are planning you can even ask them to provide the food for your event. This place was recommended by another fellow Google reviewer and my big brother Mr. Rodgers Washington. I always love the atmosphere in mom & pop restaurants b/c they pay extra attention to detail and their customers. The decor is awesome and gives a sort of retro feel. We were greeted and seated by Savanna. She introduced us to the owner who cooks in the kitchen everyday the restaurant is open wow! #dedication😲 . The food was great. Kind of bummed the shake machine wasn't working, the photos of the milk shakes looked delicious. The food arrived quickly! The food was delicious and fresh. Very flavorful!
