I am honestly not sure why it has seemingly taken so long, but it appears that more and more people are now catching on to just how delicious Pierogis are and unless you live beneath a rock then you already know that there are a ton of Pierogi places around here. Perhaps a stop here, will eliminate your search for your new go-to Pierogi place.
I will start this off by saying that this particular establishment is listed on Google as a restaurant, which if you've been here then you know that could be a little misleading. This place is more of what I would call a storefront where you go and pick up whatever you ordered or want to order. You don't actually hang out and eat here. They do also offer delivery as well, and all of that info can be found on their website. The employees here are also extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. I showed up here in a rush, very close to closing time, and instead of being irritated (like I would have been) they were very nice, helpful, and even offered up a free sample to help ease my decision making.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way, lets talk about the reason you've clicked on this review to begin with, the food. These little pillows of delectable goodness are everything I personally want in a Pierogi. I'm personally a fan of all of the unique and unusual flavors, and I know that they're not for everyone. Many of you like a traditional style Pierogi, and there is nothing wrong with that. Luckily for all of us they have a variety of both traditional and non-traditional flavor options here. The Pierogis here are just plain delicious and that might even be an understatement.
The act of making a pierogi isn't incredibly difficult, but the act of perfecting one is, and this place seems to have done just that. Even though you're purchasing a product that was made with love and then frozen, once prepared using the directions provided, you'd never know that you weren't eating something that was prepared fresh for you.
When all is said and done, the only way that you'll be able to relate to this review is if you go ahead and try the food yourself. I can tell you that you most certainly will not regret it once you do, and you'll eventually come back for more just like I plan...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbout a year and a half ago our good friend stopped into āI Love Busiaās Pierogiā and shared a post about how delicious they were and how friendly the owner was and highly recommended. A few weeks later my husband & I took a trip over and ended up buying several bags and flavors, these are some of the Best Pierogiās we have had. We also met Kim, the owner and she was so kind, gave of some history on her business, the different flavors she has and monthly specials. Needless to say, we have made quite a few trips to her store and have also had a couple of deliveries from her.
For Christmas, my husband bought me a gift certificate to take Kimās Pierogi making class and invited our best friends to go with us. The class holds 6 people, so we also met 2 other lovely ladies who attended. The class was 3 hours, Kim did a pre-demonstration, and our workstations were pre-set up and ready to go. Kimās assistant Donna was there and the whole class was seamless, Kim kept coming around to assist us in kneading, rolling-out, and cutting the dough along with answering any of our questions, and Donna assisted us throughout the class, she was Wonderful.
Each person made 24 Pierogiās which we got to take home with us, Kim prepared a sample platter when we first arrived and then presented us with 3 more dishes to give you an idea on how to prepare & present. We were all taking pictures, laughing, having a great time, the atmosphere was so relaxed and fun, and with Kimās guidance the Pierogiās were very easy to make. Throughout the class, Kim and Donna were cleaning each work station so we could continue with our next batch, kitchen was super clean and spotless.
Upon leaving with our own Pierogiās, we also purchased more from Kim. We werenāt sure what to expect from the class, but I have to say it was ā5 Starā from start to finish, the whole class āall of usā had the Best Time. Thank you so much Kim & Donna, we had so much fun, you were both Amazing, and something we will never forget, I would absolutely take your class again & highly recommend your Pierogiās.
Your Pierogiās are so Delicious & your hospitality and Kindness...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stumbled upon I love busia's pierogi while driving through my old hometown. Wow, Im so glad I stopped! First and foremost, I had a long lovely conversation with Kim, the owner, who is a simply a delight and very passionate about her business. As a fellow Pole, Ive tried dozens of places to find the best pierogi around ! For whatever reason, I decided to buy $100 worth without even sampling; something told me I was going to love these, and if not, I would be happy knowing I supported a small female owned business. I immediately went home to sample an array of different flavors. All I can say is, WOW, These are simply THE BEST homemade pierogi I have tried !! She has all the traditional flavors we all love as well as some creative flavors like beef short rib, Sante Fe Chicken and Dill pickle to name a few! I would be remiss not to mention the packaging... she flash freezes them and packages them in ziplock type bags, its perfect for when you want to grab only few. Very well thought out. This place is a MUST TRY !! Well worth the trip wherever you're coming from. Im a...
