I had strolled in to this donut shop, I bought a green tea and a bagel, it's was Sunday morning people were coming in speaking to me and socializing with me I have lived in Redondo Beach off and on for 35 years , I had been there for about 1 hour and half waiting for a friend to wake up so we could go play golf, when one of owners middle aged Asian man started telling that I need to leave. He stated that I was hanging out to long and want me to leave. The reason why his business was packed that Sunday was due to my presence there, many of the customers that came where neighbors and old friends of mine and decided to stop by, Example Mrs Stepanuan lives on gram street, grow up with Jerry and Tom, Valerie Lefronc I went Lincoln and Mira Costa High with her and many other long time residents of Redondo Beach, the Asian population doesn't understand the American tradition and doesn't feel the they have to comply with American tradition when I say American tradition or past times, I mean respecting the social norms of neighbor fellowshiping, example hanging out a coffeehouse ( Starbucks) diners, donut places etc, these are normal establishments where local folks find our about local folks, if you're going come to this country and establish a business here at least follow the traditions and cultures that are set in place for a reason, if we went to their country we would have to comply to their customs, this owner yelled at me told to leave and I believe he had a issue with black men, because weeks ago I heard he was robbed by so called black men, but I also heard they had masks and gloves on so how would he know what color the were. I believe if I was white he wouldn't have treated me that way, seems to be more Racism in Redondo Beach than usual especially with merchants, If your a person of color I would stay away from this Donut shop especially if you value good old neighborhood networking this isn't the place for that, PS all Asian do not act this, I plenty of Asian friends and colleagues I respect and Admire as great people , Alan Iscowa, Kathy's Husband lives on Bataan. I grow up with Conrad and Shawna McKay he was their stepdad great man of integrity and Character, just...
Read moreDecent selection of donuts, no complaints yet I wasn't wowed. My cake donut with chocolate icing and colored sprinkles hit the spot. The strawberry-banana smoothie tasted and smelled like bubblegum. The blended part in the mango boba was flavorful but the boba itself tasted like old hard gummies. Will probably never go back, Moon Donuts in South Redondo is hard to beat....

My wife and I like to buy 6 breakfast sandwiches on Sunday mornings, they make them very quickly and very good! Prices are reasonable, but the best part is seeing how quickly they work while still attending to every other customer that comes...
