A great hidden gem for Mexicsn food. I frequently drive about 40 miles to eat there, because it IS that excellent. Free parking is always available in the lot out front and to the side of the business. The Fish Taco plate, my personal favourite, is a taste bud explosion of pleasure. The fish is really great, and the crunchy outside is perfect. Never over or undercooked, just perfect. A little fresh lime squeeze, provided with the dish, on the tacos and wow, amazing. The beans and rice are perfectly cooked, soft and fresh. The sauces are made fresh onsite, the salsas, always fresh. The vegetable bar is clean, sanitary, and well stocked with fresh carrots, radishes, etc. I have never had any dishes there that were not exceptional both in taste and quality. Great selection of many drinks, from the self serve soda machine. They have traditional Mexican bottled and canned drinks chilled nice and cold, in the cooler to the right of the cash register. The whipped pineapple and horchata drinks on tap are fresh and taste great. Coffee is hot, and fresh. The facility is clean and well run. Staff are friendly, attentive, and your food is prepared very quickly. Special requests are honoured by the cooks. There is a dining area inside, with tables and chairs, and a big screen TV for entertainment. A Stellar place. A CW 10 out of 10, Yeh, good 2 go on in, rating.
Check it out if you want awesome Mexican food. Reasonably priced as well. They are open until 9PM, for those like myself, whose business days frequently extend into the evening, and are left with very limited options for fresh food after 8pm. You will not be...
Read moreI don't like writing bad reviews one bit. I'm not a food reviewer/influencer at all. I'm just a fan of good Mexican fare who was looking for a new joint that brings the goods. But, this was totally ridiculous. I drive by the Redondo location often, and finally got a chance to check it out. The place was empty at dinner time. Not a good start. I went in and ordered a basic asada burrito and a carnitas basic taco. I ordered my food and went straight to the salsa bar. I didn't even get through filling my salsa containers when they handed me my order. Funny that I didn't hear any cooking going on the flat top at all, and I was standing right by it. Another bad sign... I get home and dig in, and was appalled by what I saw. The carnitas looked like they were reheated leftovers from a couple of days ago. They tasted like it too. The asada was even worse. The burrito had this nasty funk factor going on. I opened it up and the meat was mushy and not appetizing at all. Reheated leftovers...I ate like 3 or 4 bites then tossed the whole thing. I would have gone back to get a refund, but of course, they were closed. How in good conscience could they actually serve up this slop that isn't even fit for a dog to eat? Shame...Well, an $18.61 lesson learned I guess....
Read moreThis was my first time trying Panchos Taco, and unfortunately, it was also my last time as well. I decided to give this place a try since it's around the corner from my current jobsite. I called in my order for 3 asada burritos. Once I arrived for the pick-up, one of my coworkers changed their mind on their order. They wanted to change for a asada quesadilla. The guy working there told me that the order was ready-made, and I requested a change that would like to change one of the burritos for an asada quesadilla. He said that "it would be a waste of food and we didn't make the mistake." So he did not help change the order or offer any way to make it better. The customer service experience was very poor. I was on my lunch break and had no time to argue, so I just left and let it be. Also, I paid almost $33 for 3 small burritos. There was more rice and beans than meat in the burritos. As a Hispanic food establishment, this place is a joke! I'd rather take my money to Chipotle, where I know they will make my burrito to order and assist...
