Super Quick and Very Hot! I finally got a chance to drive over to Reedsburg to check it out. Iāve heard mixed reviews from friends that have been here so far but I think thatās the norm with any new place opening up. I really like the design with drive thru or pickup counter only. I had a few cars ahead of me in the drive thru but they went quick, quicker or same as any other fast food drive thru I utilize - and it helps know the food is fresh and not something that was made ahead and just sitting on a warmer. I had a Cheese Quesadilla Taco since it was a big picture on the menu and Iām not familiar with Taco Johnās. It came with a drink and tots. So the taco was surprisingly good! It had big chunks of chicken and it was actually really good chicken. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The amount of āstuffā on the taco was a lot. I made note of that because I was trying to smush it down to eat it. The tots were so yummy. I want to know what they sprinkle on them! I got a side of nacho cheese and sour cream for the tots - they offered it and who am I to say no to nacho cheese and sour cream? I was surprised at the size of those sides, way bigger than Iāve ever seen and more than I could use - and Iām usually running out when I have sides like that. So I dipped my tots in nacho and sour cream - it was divine. Maybe next time if Iāll see if they have a hot sauce for the tots too. Yummmm. Soda was Dr Pepper and how can you go wrong with that? You canāt. Anyways, I was impressed with this place and the food was good. I expected the same as Taco Bell (which I also like) but it had its own flair and didnāt taste the same.
The staff at the window was quick and pleasant. I could see the kitchen employees too and they looked clean, efficient and you could hear the communication between them which is likely one reason it was fast and the traffic was flowing.
Iād definitely make the drive again. I hope...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe got a new taco John's where I live and, unfortunately, our experience was less then acceptable. We ordered a #2 with a large soda and a large potato ole' with 2 sides of sour cream. Total bill was $14.20, which seemed a bit high, but normal when compared to prices these days. I ordered two sides of sour cream which were $1.19 each. In my opinion, if im going to pay that price for 2 little cups, they should at least be 3/4 full. Instead I received about 1 drop in one and maybe 2 in the other one. (See photos). After dropping my son off at home, I drove back across town to inform them of my issues. After getting someone to notice me at the pick up counter, I explained myself and showed her the two little cups. She looks at them and says, "I put 3 pumps in it so I don't understand what the problem is." I said, " If I'm going to pay almost $3 for something so small to begin with, it could at least be full." So with no response, she grabs only 1 of the cups and adds a little more sour cream to it, brings it back and says , "here." I didn't even get a simple "I'm sorry." I have been here quite a few times in the last couple months and their customer service has made me feel like "just a number". In my opinion, some more customer service training is...

I order through DoorDash most of the time and I decided to try taco Johnās in burg again. This is the second time now that Iāve gotten food there that Iāve been missing the nacho cheese thatās costs extra to purchase for your oles. Also upon receiving my food it was quite cold and needed to be reheated in the microwave. I can tell that itās not from the time the doordasher picked it up and dropped it off cause they were waiting for me food when they went to pick it up. I donāt live outside of town either so thereās no excuse other than it was sitting getting cold at the restaurant. Iāve ate at multiple locations in the past when I lived in Brookfield Wisconsin and Iāve never had an issue with their locations down in that area. However, since reedsburg has been taking up some bigger chain restaurants they seem to go under quite fast. Better training and some coaching is needed from someone other than the manager thatās there. They need to have corporate come in and do some training...
