To be clear, this isn't a one time experience, my family and I have tried over several times and a couple of years to give this place a chance. When you walk in the place had a stinch mixed with bleach. The times we've been, it might have 5 other tables being serviced, so a minimal amount. Lengthy wait time to receive menus. Not a friendly staff, ever. Waitress explained to our group, prices while we are dining would be half price for appetizers, therefore our 14 people group ordered accordingly. Full price upon checkout, when approached to waitress, she did compensate 2 out of 8 appetizers. Everyone ordered, drinks came out...then the WAIT.... Over an hour before any food began to appear. Several orders were inedible, due to being burnt or undercooked, food quality is consistently less than mediocre for taste. 2 orders did not come out until another hour passed and everyone else finished. Plus several orders were wrong and only a couple of things were fixed and brought out. Mentioning to our server, she insisted it was being taken care of. Before leaving 2 things were never brought out. Server did omit the burnt meal and a portion of the order that didn't make it to the table. This was the last experience all tied up with similar experiences, consistently with ever time we have dined here. Overall. Dim atmosphere, Unfriendly and slow, poor staff skills and follow through. Food is expensive and very poor quality and did I mention Slow?! I was hoping for better for our town with...
Read moreWe were so excited that we had a new nice restaurant to visit. We have gone several times and each time either the service is slow or the food is not exactly what we ordered. We were there one afternoon about 4:00 and there were several other couples in the restaurant all waiting to get their food. In comes an entire football team which have ordered their food ahead of time and the kitchen is only working on their orders and bringing them out. Everyone had to wait for this process to complete and the waitress never told anyone what was going on until we started asking questions. When we got our food the order was wrong so mine had to go back due to allergies from the cheese on my burger. We had already had to wait on the team to be fed and then I had to wait for my burger to be redone. I think the hardest part is no one telling us what was going on and why we were having to wait. We were their today and order grilled chicken salads for both of us. When we got the salad we had to ask for knives to cut up the chicken and the tomatoes which came in full quarter size pieces. The chicken tasted like it came from a pre-cooked bag at the grocery store and when we ask why the chicken was cold we were told that it must have sat in the back too long. We moved here from a large town and we loved to eat out however we are not going to spend good money for slow service and cold food. Such a...
Read moreIt gets 2 stars because the food was pretty good. I would say the service was awful, but there was no service. I asked about drink specials because the chalkboard sign in front of the door mentioned something. The waitress didn't know of any specials and went to inquire just to return and tell me ther were no specials. I ordered a bud light draft and when I finally did get my beer it wasn't cold. A couple set next to us and waited for about 15 mins before getting up and leaving without even ordering drinks. It was around 3pm on Labor Day. It was a slow time. Waiters and waitresses were nowhere to be found. The bartender was on her phone the whole time. After about 30 mins of sitting there we ordered food. It took about 35-45 mins before our food came out. I had to ask for silverware because we didn't get any. One of the burgers we ordered came with cheese when we asked for no cheese but it wasn't a huge deal. Again, the food was pretty good. The check ended up being $82. I had high hopes because Reidsville needs more restaurants and things to do with your family. But paying that check was a hard pill to swallow as bad as the service was. If it'd been busy we'd have been more understanding, but there might have been 4-5 tables with people at them the entire time...
