This morning at 9:45 AM I went through the drive thru and had the simplest order possible. 1 Large Dr. Pepper. Got to the window to pay and the man at that window asked if I had the Large Coke and then corrected it to Large Diet Coke. I corrected him and told him No it should be a Large Dr. Pepper. Pay him and move to next window, get my drink and start to pull off. Still in the parking lot I take a sip and sure enough it was Diet Coke. I pull back around to the window and proceed to tell the woman at the window, Kim which is also a shift manager, that my drink was a Diet Coke when it was supposed to be a Dr. Pepper and even explained that I had corrected the gentleman at the payment window so giving two chances to get it right yet it was still wrong. She immediately had a terrible attitude, asked again what the drink was supposed to be and then again asked if it was supposed to be a large Dr. Pepper. When she brought the drink back around she handed it to me without a word, and closed the window. I never ever complain and this is the first review I’ve ever written in my life, but over something so simple and such terrible attitude I feel this is a necessary review. Because of how she acted I sat at the window still and asked her to open window back up to get her name, rather than tell me her name she turned to show me her name tag. Because the name tag was silver it had a glare making it impossible to see, so I told her I couldn’t see it and asked for her name again, she just turned multiple times flashing her name tag and finally after me having to say I couldn’t see her name several times she tells me her name is Kim and I see then that she is a shift manager. She then shuts the window again quickly without another word and I drove off.
Will be calling the store as well to discuss this with the General Manager.
They need to slow down! And not be so rude when you bring something back because their errors. It was a small thing, but it’s like they expect you to keep the wrong order rather than get what you asked and paid for.
This is a frequent/reoccurring issue with this McDonald’s (I got often because I have three children that of course love happy meals) and it’s just time to stop being silent about it and let them know it’s okay to make mistakes, but being rude when the mistake needs to be corrected is...
Read moreI wish this McDonalds hadn't disappointed me like so many have, but it did. I was having trouble getting the app to pull up a deal I wanted to use but kept having issues. First it didn't want to show the deals that were available, then it wouldn't load the code to use the deal. I asked for help figuring things out, and they were just like "guess the app isn't working. It does that sometimes." They wouldn't even try to help me figure it out. I asked if they could apply the deal, since they could see I had access to the deal and what the terms were. They refused. And I guess I could understand that, except ive been to other McDonalds that just went ahead and applied the deal before I could even pull up the code. I finally decided to redownload the app, which took several minutes. That created a whole new issue - the app stated the deal had already been applied. I went back to the counter and asked if they could help me figure out how to access it - they saw how much I was struggling with it and obviously the deal hadn't been used. They made absolutely no effort to try and figure it out and were very dismissive. By that point I was at the end of my patience and had to leave before I lost it on them. I ended up going to Wendy's, which had a similar deal happening. Their app didnt give me any trouble and I'm sure even if it did they would have actually tried to help me; I've never had a bad experience with them which sadly cannot be said for McDonalds. This experience wasnt even the worst faced. I went back on the app later to see if I could figure it out now that I had calmed down, and the solution was actually very easy. I just opened the page the error message directed me to and i found it. I could understand average employees not knowing what to do, but the manager was also there and she was just as dismissive. I'm glad i didnt just stick around and let them deceive me into paying full price. I wont...
Read moreAfter my last visit I will never return to this McDonalds ever again. We went through the drive thru and when we were placing our order we could hear employees laughing in the background. We pulled up to the window to get our food and were told to pull in the reserved parking. There was already a car sitting there waiting. They were not busy at all during this time. After waiting about ten minutes someone came out with a bag and asked if we ordered an apple pie and quarter pounder. We replied no and she looked really confused and went back inside. After another ten minutes another employee came to the car with no food and asked if we ordered an apple pie and quarter pounder. We replied no again and she asked what did you order? We handed her the receipt, she walked away shaking her head. After another ten minutes they finally came out with our order The guy hands us the bag and never apologized for the confusion and wait. The couple that was sitting there before us hadn't even got there food. It's fast food, not let's get it together and get the orders out after we get done playing around. Since the upgrade the food is not as good, they're much slower and screw orders up all the time. I'll just make a trip to Eden if I want McDonalds. Whoever was managing during this day and time needs to be fired as well as most of...
