Wendy's — Restaurant in Reidsville

Dave Thomas died and so did the quality of the food, at least at this location. I ordered a combo hamburger meal to go on several occasions doing a nearby job because it was the most convenient place to go to and I was in a hurry. Each time there was only one leaf of lettuce and slice of tomato so thin that you could see through it. And the hamburger came with cheese. I didn't order cheese. Don't want cheese. I stated my displeasure to the cashier and she pointed to the menu from which I took my selection. Looking closely, at the bottom of the hamburger combo meal description, it did indeed state in much smaller letters, "with cheese". We used to call that a cheeseburger not a hamburger. Why are they trying to hide the fact that it's not a hamburger but a cheeseburger?

And the so called frosty now is a joke. Remembering the frostys my wife and I used to get in the day, we ordered one. It was barely frozen, more like chocolate milk but without the satisfying taste. Tried again today, same thing. And we also notice that the frosties didn't have the same heft or weight that they use too. They've messed around with the formula so that you're actually getting something akin to foam rather than a frozen dairy treat. In summary, Dave Thomas, we miss you.

UPDATE: Frosty problem seems to have been finally solved in Reidsville. When I made the above review, this was after several frosties over a period of a year or more. Over the last three or so months, the three or four frosties I have gotten had returned to their former glory. Haven't tried their hamburgers (cheeseburgers) again. Since, I am no longer compelled to go there out of convenience to where I was working, I get my burgers...

Been going to Reidsville location since mother is in resthome there. Haven't been to Wendy's for almost 9 months . Trying to save money. Even fast food is getting expensive. But I give in because alot of things i need to do . I love Wendy's burgers ! I've been going to Reidsville location for almost a month and got food thru the drive thru 6 times so far . 2nd and 3rd visit I got a medium sized single combo and the coke had no ice drink got hot b4 I could finish my meal 15 min down the road is when I realized drink had no ice . Bummer ! The last 2 visits were disappointing. Next to last order got a single combo mediums size and 6 pc chicken nuggets. Drove 10 minutes down the road to a parking lot to eat and get food out of bag , no chicken nuggets. Another bummer..I didn't check my bag at window. The last visit same thing happened but , I got a medium baconater combo and nuggets , more expensive than a single combo . About 4 bucks more . Didn't get a receipt or check my bag before leaving the food pickup window and got less than I ordered. So I will be getting a receipt next time and checking my bag before leaving window ! Check your bags at any drive thru and get a receipt so you can prove what you ordered. Still love Wendy's burgers but accuracy of what you order socks at this one . Oh yeah , 2nd and third visit for a single combo and my drink...

Went here for lunch to get my usual triple cheeseburger and the order was not only made wrong but the cashier had an attitude from the beginning. Then after my sandwich was made wrong they didn't apologize for getting it wrong and then the sandwich maker on the food line copped an attitude for being corrected and started complaining about having to work a little overtime and proceeded to take her precious sweet time (About an additional 5 minutes) to make the food and the manager didn't do a thing about the whole issue. Then the cashier copped an attitude toward an elderly gentleman because his hearing wasn't very good and his voice was was a little weak. (He looked about 75 years old.) Then their attitude ran off two customers who were standing in line but walked out after they seen what was going on. The employee's should've been fired right then and there on the spot without hesitation. If you don't like your job then quit the job cause there is plenty of people out there willing to take your spot on that job and I'm sure that Wendy's wouldn't go bankrupt just cause you quit. Overall it was sad pathetic service and I'm so glad this place isn't my local Wendy's. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND this...
