Top notch establishment with some unique options. You’d be hard-pressed to find another place in town serving Cochinita Pibil as a meat choice. The portions are hefty & the quality feels superbly homemade. If a place has a smothered/wet burrito that’s what I’ll usually get, so I feel a bit qualified to note that the red sauce used here is a lot spicier than your run-of-the-mill place down the street, so exercise caution if you aren’t a heat freak like me. That being said though, it is extremely good & I can easily rank it as one of the top (no pun intended) smothering sauces in the area that I’ve tried. My only complaint with the burrito supreme is that there was barely any guac or sour cream in it. I definitely feel that a little more sour cream would have complimented the heat of the sauce very well. They also have a pickled onion & habanero pepper garnish used on their tacos that is as spicy as you would think, while also being very tasty. I noticed them actually boiling hibiscus flowers to make the jamaica agua fresca so I had to get a cup. Again, most of the other well-known establishments in town use a syrup concentrate base for their agua “frescas” resulting in a sugar water taste with minimal hibiscus flavor or tart. I found that the one offered here didn’t have that issue. The price is a little high, coming out to about $20 for my complete meal, but the quality, uniqueness, & flavor were all there. I’ll be back. 😎

So first time going here and decide to get carne fries. And they are ginormous. They served it in a large molcajete and i could barely get thru half of it. The fries they used for it were on the meh side but all the other ingredients were top notch. Free refills behind the counter, need only ask. They are on the pricier side but I believe theyre well worth it based on quantity and quality. My friend got a torta and quesadilla with birria. He ate most of the quesadilla and took the rest home. The picture of the torta looks like just meat but theres more going on on the inside. I think the quesadilla is the perfect choice being only $8 its a cheaper menu item but he said it was delicious. It does get very busy at peak times but they seem to handle the crowds with ease. Parking sucked though and we got there BEFORE the crowd so good luck.

Daddy's Taco, is my place to go. They are open 7 days a week; open from 7am to 3pm and the food is superb. They have a physical local at 4840 Mill St. Suite 8, Reno, NV 89502. The quesabirria tacos are some of the best. These are beef tacos and they are good size. The flavor makes your mouth water even more than the smell. It comes with the juice for dipping; which has a robust flavor and compliments that tacos. I highly recommend this place and would consider it one of the best. They are also having a motorcycle raffle for a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan. The raffle will be held on April 1st. Rules are: everytime you come in and eat; you get a raffle ticket to put your name and number. So don't hesitate to come on down and try this beautiful hole in the wall.

I could go on forever about Daddy’s Tacos, but let’s start with what really makes this place special: the owners. Hands down, one of the most community-driven, heart-centered power couples I’ve ever met. They’re not hiding behind the scenes they’re out front, working side-by-side with their team, greeting customers like family, and genuinely showing up for their community. If you’re a regular, chances are you’ll end up friends with them because that’s just who they are.

Now let’s talk staff
incredible! Attentive, hard-working, and warm. I hosted a private client appreciation party here and my guests couldn’t stop raving about the service. I also host a monthly networking event for local women-owned businesses at Daddy’s, and there’s a reason we keep coming back. The vibe and the hospitality are unmatched. Bonus: they have a fantastic private event room and they’re always hosting cool happenings of their own.

OK, now to the food. I’m a dairy-free girly, so I haven’t been able to explore every menu item—but let me tell you, their street tacos are next level. I always go for the carne asada (because it slaps every single time), but I’ve tried every taco they offer and not a single one has missed. They’re flavorful, fresh and addictive.

They recently added a salsa bar—bless them—because their salsa? Stupid delicious. And don’t even get me started on the guac. I could eat a bowl of it with a spoon and call it self-care.

They also have a food truck and do catering, just in case you ever find yourself needing more tacos in your life (which, let’s be real, you absolutely do).

Thanks for reading my love rant! Keep up the good...

Authentic Mexican cuisine outlet that serves simple and quickly prepared fast-food with flavor and freshness at a fair price for the everyday local workers, as well as the Reno breakfast and lunch patrons.

The restaurant, which is at the end corner unit of a building block attached to other partioned businesses, against the backdrop of nondescript industrial businesses section near the private Reno airport đŸ›«.

The ambiance is utilitarian and the layout is a large and clean order/service and dining area separated into 2 sections by a wall. Vibrant and colorful murals celebrating Mexican culture adorn the walls of the eatery.

There are also authentic Mexican garments, bags and handicrafts for sale, and gathered together at the back of the dining room section.

Service was good and a friendly demeanor by the attending staff member.

The Tacos 🌼(Al Pastor and Birria) were good and the meat 🍖 tasted fresh.

The Torta (Asada meat 🍖) was huge and can easily be shared by 2 persons with a fairly good appetite.

Both dishes were well-seasoned and the Tortillas were soft and enveloped the meat and garnishes layed atop.

The dipping sauce for the Tacos 🌼 had the adequate amount of flavor that complemented the flavors from the Tacos without overpowering it.

Overall, it is a good Mexican quick service restaurant that focuses on simple street-style dishes, that are fresh and given high-quality ingredients catering to the local workers (given its location along the industrial area and the local private airport) and visitors alike.

They also have a food truck 🚚 that serves the...

So, the tacos are delicious, however, be very wary of hiring them to cater your event. We booked them months in advance for our wedding reception and, literally the day before, they canceled. The reason was that Valentine, one of the owners we had been working with, catered an event where our reception was going to be held a few days previously and had issues. There was a miscommunication about being able to cook inside and they ended up having cooking in the area on the side of the building. Trying to make this work (on the phone with her and the manager of the business holding our reception during our wedding rehearsal) we wondering if they could cook the food beforehand and serve it at our reception. Valentine said it would effect the quality of their food too much and would compromise their reputation. Then she said she had such a bad experience cooking outside at the previous event and with the other manager (who, in the end, actually gave us the go ahead to cook inside just to help us out), that she canceled...the day before our wedding. Not sure what reflects worse on your business: serving pre-made food or canceling your business contract the day before someone's wedding. Nobody at our wedding could believe a small business would actually do something like this. Luckily Beto's, another local restaurant, came to our rescue and catered our 80 person reception last minute, making tacos, beans, rice and a salsa bar ahead of time and serving it at the event. And guess what, they were delicious! Definitely recommending Beto's for all your taco...
