This was BY FAR, the Besssssst dinner from dominos we have ever received! I can’t believe how perfect the cheesy bread tastes! As a prior employee and manager of a pizza restaurant, I understand the process and chaos of creating the perfect order for customers and especially how much more difficult it is during the “rush hours”. Trust me, I know firsthand that customers can and will complain and demand a refund over things outside of the control of the employees. The employees at the Robb Dr. Domino’s in Reno NV are always our go-to for the best dinner when I’m not able to make meals at home due to my chronic medical disabilities and situations that arise from the pandemic which are familiar to everyone. My sincerest THANK YOU goes out to This team as they have always been respectful and available. If there is an issue, they go above and beyond to make it right , we all know that sometimes things go wrong, no matter how hard we try, mistakes happen. BUT this particular TEAM at our Dominos is BY FAR the best! I suggest that the employees here, whether manager, food preparer, day shift employees who ensure all items for preparing dinner are available for carrying out orders of day and night shift, delivery drivers et. all, alllll receive not only acknowledging their dedication and hard work which, rarely, in my personal experience, is given by customers. I also suggest that they all receive at least a 2 dollar bump up in their pay, we are in a pandemic and they are ESSENTIAL and putting their health at risk to ensure that people don’t have to. People think healthcare and other professionals are the priority and should receive “hazard pay” and our fast food employees in my opinion are undervalued and overlooked as a necessity although they are providing us with the Essential thing we need to survive...FOOD and for that, our family recognizes that they should receive the same incentives as other professions. For if we didn’t have these services available, many would not survive or may become ill. Thank you and PLEASE consider my suggestion as something that should be implemented not just at our favorite Domino’s team here in Reno but all Domino’s nationwide.
Special thanks for tonight’s dinner to Vanessa who prepared our order and Kevin, our...
Read moreThis is the 6th time I have ordered from here, and maybe my mistake was choosing to pick it up in the store instead of having it delivered....I realize my "problem" is fairly petty but I paid for a soda, and didn't get it, and they can't or won't fix it because I didn't call "on the same day". I ordered online, and chose the option for pickup in store. I arrived in store within my allotted time frame, and waited while about 4 employees worked "on the line" but didn't greet me. I tried to use the kiosk to check in, but it was broken. After about 5 minutes of waiting in the lobby, listening to them chit chat about their weekend plans, and tell funny stories to each other, someone came out from the back and asked if I had been helped yet. When I told her I had not, she offered to assist me, and I asked for my pick up order. She handed me the food, but forgot about the 2 liter soda I ordered. At this point, I was annoyed with the experience and I had forgotten about the soda as well. When I got home, I realized that I didn't have the soda, and had to make another stop at a store closer to home. I didn't want to call Domino's at this time, as my family had been waiting for me to get back so we could have dinner. By the time I got a chance to call, I was told that there was nothing that could be done about the situation, because it wasn't the same day, and there was no way for them to know if I paid for it or not....except that I was offered a discount on another 2 liter if I wanted to come back in and purchase another one. This is not an acceptable solution, in my opinion. Those facts, accompanied by the fact that the jalapeno cheesy bread was burnt on the top but under cooked in the middle, is why I am choosing...
Read moreAnother update. This dominos has lost me. Awful service. Took 2 hours for my pizza to get to me and in when the driver finally got to me she demanded money before handing me the pizza. That has never happened before. Should’ve made her scramble for a dollar in change for acting that way.
Update (from one star to 3) I was able to get ahold of the manager on duty, Bob, who was able to resolve the issue. He apologized and refunded the order. The driver shouldn't have taken that long and the manager promised that they are trying to do better. Thanks Bob!
Have had problems with this dominos lately. Driver left 30 minutes ago and I'm only 7 minutes away. I'm now waiting for over an hour. Upon calling the store I was told "if it's been 30 minutes so he should be there soon" when I said thank you and goodbye she just hung up without saying anything else. Looks like I'm switching back to Pizza Hut for my deliveries! Last time the driver got lost in my complex and asked me to meet him in the parking lot (there is no particular lot so I had no idea where he was). Time before that they got the order wrong and I complained with no offer to fix it. Get it...
