I finally got a chance to try Taste of Somalia and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The food has that real home-cooked flavor that you just don’t find everywhere. You can taste the spices in every bite, nothing watered down or ā€œAmericanized.ā€ The rice was perfect, the meat was seasoned right, and even the portions hit the spot. What I really liked is you can feel the culture behind the food, like it’s made with pride. I’ll definitely be back — this is the type of spot you keep in your rotation.

This was my second time coming to this food truck, and it did not disappoint! I tried the rice and chicken, the spaghetti with beef, and the chicken wrap, all of them were flavorful and well seasoned. But my absolute favorites were the loaded fries and the strawberry crunch cake. The fries were perfectly crispy and topped with so much goodness, and the cake was the perfect sweet ending. The customer service is always amazing super friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I first tried their food through their catering service a while back and it was amazing. So I was excited to hear they recently got a spot to set up their food truck. I got the sambus, chicken baris, and a slice of their tea-flavored milk cake. Everything was just as good as I remembered! If you’re looking to try some good Somali food, definitely give them a shot!

Driving down Rainier, I stumbled upon an absolute gem—a vibrant blue food truck run by an amazing husband and wife team! They were incredibly welcoming, and everything was made to order, which made the experience even more special. The food? Simply mind-blowing! It's hands down the best Somali food I've ever tasted. You won't be able to miss it as you head north on Rainier; look for that eye-catching blue truck on the left! And don’t forget, they open at 2 PM—make sure to stop by you wont...
