Northwest Seaplanes has such a wonderful group of people. Every question was answered by phone before a booking was completed. Whoever we spoke with made the entire process easy to change flight dates in order to accommodate five different people’s busy schedules or due to the the shifting bad weather before flying the Cascade tour. The day of the flight was nothing short of impressively easy to prepare for the breathtaking scenic flight. Charles, our pilot, was delighted to have a cat aboard and expressed he’s always wanted a cat to lay across his dash while flying. While the cat didn’t do this (for obvious safety reasons), kitty did appreciate the birds eye views of flying higher than the birds.

These planes are such a treat to fly and the staff made it even more special taking special care to ensure the kitty enjoyed his flight as well. Definitely looking forward for taking another flight with...

We booked a tour from Seattle to San Juan Island, and it was a great experience!

The plane is a bit smaller and more cramped than I anticipated, but once you settle in it's quite comfortable, and the views over Puget Sound are beautiful. We saw the Seattle landmarks, numerous islands along the way, and even a glimpse of orcas.

Our pilot, Brad, shared interesting facts and answered all questions from passengers. Smooth landings, he has definitely done that many times over and experience shows 😉

We were also able to update the timing fairly last minute, which KC (or was Kacey? I'm sorry, I'm not sure) helped us with and made the process easy.

Great for traveling to our local islands or farther north into and beyond the Inside Passage of Vancouver Island. We didn't go to their property called Hakai Lodge, but instead were dropped off directly at our friends pier in Desolation Sound, BC. The pilot was friendly and efficient and got us there with minimal fuss. There Renton location is better for us since we live south of the I-90 bridge and leaving a car with them was hassle free.
