Had a situation this morning, with a woman who took offense with a dog that was part basset hound. Dog would bark and bay a lot. (bark, bark, barooooo.) Her dog had played with the dog in question for half an hour, along with the other 12 dogs that were there. After some people had left (on the hour, as people will do) she starting yelling at the 6 humans from 30 feet away, that the hound dog was aggressive, and people left because of this dog. What? This dog was NOT aggressive. Dog played nicely with the other 12 dogs, including the small dogs, too. She yelled her dog had been "knocked down 3 times". Dogs run and chase and wrestle, and yes, get "rolled over" in a chase game. We tried to tell her this, but 30 feet away is just like yelling on a school ground, and she should have approached the hound owner, instead of yelling 30 feet away. If you have a dog, and have never had a dog before, please do some some research on dog behavior, or engage a dog behaviorist, to teach you...
