Don Pedro Grill — Restaurant in Republic

3rd update- We had the chicken, cheese, and beef enchiladas, and beef chimi. All so hood, great service as always. Adding the 5th star! Can't say enough! I recommend them and will certainly return!

#2 update- Still great, still have good service. I'm so happy for Don Pedro and how busy/ successful they are. They deserve it!

Update- The Hawaiian Quesadilla is very good, we order it without bacon. The enchilada plate is also very good!

I have eaten here multiple times. When I do eat here with this particular restaurant I am a man of habit. I always order the same thing and never stray. They have the best fajitas around. For the price it is the biggest portions of steak and chicken on a sizzling platter you'll get anywhere. Their fajitas for 2 is so big we can never eat it all. We take and eat it for lunch and snacks for the next 2 days. All the staff are very friendly and I noticed last time I was in that they have regulars that eat there and the staff interaction is genuine and it's nice to see them all smiling and carrying on considering today's environment. They food is comes out fast, hot and is below price of surrounding restaurants of the same ethnicity. I recommend Don Pedro's for a sit down meal or an even faster pickup and take...

The food and service is great. The Queso is beyond the best. Enchiladas Maria the only dish i will crave. The queso is a little over priced, but worth it. The only bad thing the margaritas are extremely weak for the price, but if you just want a taste with meal they are fine. Will be back!!! UPDATE: returned recently. Ordered a Quesadilla, it was good but it was NOT a Quesadilla. It was a slightly over sized chicken taco. Barely any cheese, the chicken was not what I ordered. For 11.00 I expected more then a soft shell taco. The waitress was extremely lacking in personality and truly acted like she could careless. These restaurants El Maya in marionville, both the Don Pedro's and the El Maya in Mt Vernon have slipped. Hopefully, they will get back on track. But I won't be returning...
