Revere Beach Pizzeria: New York Style Slice — Restaurant in Revere

I have to say, Revere Beach Pizzeria really exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the owner, who was incredibly attentive and helpful. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and was blown away by the size a slice; it was nearly bigger than my head! 
But what really impressed me was the owner's willingness to allow me to take photos of their staff and food for free to help promote the newly opened restaurant. It's clear to me that the owner and his staff care deeply about their customers and their business. The restaurant's unique design and charming aesthetic just adds to the overall positive experience. The prices are more than reasonable for the value you get, and as a local resident, I can happily say that Revere Beach Pizzeria is a welcomed addition to the area. I am always less than impressed by pretty much all pizza. I compare it all to what I consider the gold standard, which is old school Bianchi's pizza on Revere Beach, which has been gone for a very long time (not to be confused by Bianchi's on the beach that exists now. They are not the same pizza or location). However I actually liked this pizza.. I thought it was somewhat similar in crust type and taste..particularly the cheese. Also got the sausage, ricotta, red pepper, with spicy oil (not very spicy..but good). I am shocked. Usually nothing comes within a long shot of 'the gold standard.' It was my first time there and the place smelled divine when I walked in on a cold and snowy afternoon. My intent was to get a slice to go and eat in my hotel room but watching the passionate pizza makers and inhaling the wonderful aroma convinced my taste buds to eat my slice right there and then. A good call because this pizza rocked! I bought another slice to go and have on my flight back the following day. Will definitely be back next time I am in Revere! The staff was super friendly.
