Del Taco — Restaurant in Rialto

If you go to this Del Taco, you better have 30-45 minutes to kill. Getting to this location is a pain in the rear. They share the parking lot with Starbucks, which usually has a line blocking the direct way to Del. Del itself usually has a line that extends past its drive thru. When you finally get up to the speaker the customer service is appalling. I got the "Hi, welcome to Del Taco" but at the end I didn't get a "thank you your total is $x.xx" or a "please pull forward." All I got was "window." When I arrived to the cashier was greeted with any pleasantries like "Hello," instead it was "this item, correct", which was the wrong order. Then once the realized which order was ours they didn't confirm to make sure it was correct but just told us the total. I paid the amount and waited another 10 minutes, two chicken soft tacos and large fries should not take this long. When the food was ready the cashier asked "sauces?" which I replied with scorcho and ketchup and was handed a bag with scorcho and mild. As I grabbed the bag I asked if this was everything and she just waved me away with out saying anything else. I am definitely not pleased with this location. Whatever they are paying some of these people is not enough. Today my husband has a colonoscopy at a surgery center in the same suite. His expected wait time was once four hours and we live far away so I was looking for somewhere to work on my computer. I originally went to Starbucks and it was loud with blasting music and freezing inside so there was no way I could work. I went to Del Taco and placed my order and asked if I could work there. The manager was so pleasant, kind and welcomed me. Through the two hours I sat there I had the privilege to witness a customer service, well oiled masterpiece from the manager and another gentleman at the to go window. I honestly have never ever seen such great customer service on my entire life. These two gentlemen were charismatic, polite and spoke so eloquently to their customers. When they didn't have customers, they were cleaning tables and taking out the trash. These two guys were the very optime of driven. This place was just all together bad. They seem to make a lot of mistakes. While we were inside several people walked in after leaving the drive thru complaining about the food being wrong. The young girl manager took the food back. Big no no. After about 10 min and everyone else who ordered after i did received their food. I walked up to find half my food just sitting there. I asked the guy did i miss my number being called. He says no its coming up. Apparently they can't get the order right. I just asked for no this and more of that. Simple right. Nope not here. They are behind the counter gossiping. Got the food it was ok. They are so worried about their conversation that they gave me extra stuff. Cool with me. If you come here check your food before you leave. One worker (male) was really friendly and seemed to like his job.
