Just had a ridiculous experience at this location.
After paying for my order, and after having my food handed to me. I then asked for 2 sauces, ketchup (considering I was having fries, probably shouldn't have had to ask for that), salt & pepper, and extra napkins.
I was then told it would be .70cents for extra sauce. Considering i was not even asked what sauce I wanted, I found it odd that I was asking for extra sauce???
The female drive thru attendant then said, "Which hot sauce do you want? We have a bunch", She however, did not suggest any of them or specify what a bunch was???
This was my first and last trip to Zaxby's by the way.
I said I would take the hottest one and gave her the 1 Zaxby's sauce that I did not ask for back.
I then explained that if there was going to be a charge for extra sauce, then she should have asked me if I wanted any other sauce before running my card... Just like she should have asked if I wanted any ketchup or any other condiments.. Which of course did not happen...
She then gave me some more little teenager angst and attitude, (Still no ketchup, napkins, or salt and pepper, though)
Then walks off, at which point a second Employee comes to the window and is more interested in explaining to me how I can speak to the help, (Still no Ketchup, Salt & Pepper or Napkins)...
Now, a 3rd employee comes to the window and wants to tell me how I can speak to whoever... I explained to him that the first employee had an attitude from the get-go and told him I'm not interested in his opinion on my communication style. I then told him either give me my Ketchup, Salt & Pepper, and Napkins, and I'll be on my way or refund my money, and I'll give you the food back. He then was more interested in again attempting to tell me how to communicate and failed to give me the requested condiments. WOW!!!
I then got even more agitated, and he closed the drive thru window and refused to give me the condiments or a refund.
Great Customer Service by the whole team!!!
Stop trying to be Woke and tell others how to act or communicate and just do YOUR JOB.
If you took the time to ask me what else I might need, it might not frustrate you to have to do your job when I then have to ask for the other things I need.
If you don't want to provide customer service, then don't work in customer service.
All of this happened when I was the only car in the drive thru, and no one was in the restaurant..
Hummmmm, I wonder why there was no business at this location, I...
Read more(for July 2nd) I do not like going thru a drive thru when I say "thank you" and the speaker does not in return say "you're welcome"! I do not like customer service experiences when I end the conversation and still nothing is said in return (ex: no "have a nice day!"). Kailee was cold and rude it seemed as though she was upset because I used a coupon. She was blowing loudly into the speaker with her breath and smacking her lips. I won't be back.
My family who was in the car with me felt her attitude and when we brought this to her attention at the window she sounded way more chipper and friendly after we asked for her name than she did when I spoke kindly to her over the intercom. Yes..., I was sure to have asked her and the kind young lady who was working with her exactly who had just taken our order. So I am sure it was Kailee.
Once confronted (kindly) she pretended as though she had no clue as to the attitude that she had whenever I spoke with her over the intercom, and to the ways that she repeatedly failed at showing my family and I good customer service by way of her communication.
She was so friendly though after we had asked for her name whenever I spoke with her at the window! Why not express some of that kindness during my first drive thru experience here? My mother had just said "I heard about Zaxby's but have never been". She got excited when we begin to find out all of the different locations that were near us and how easy it would be to get there!
What mama wants...mama is very well taken care of...and mama gets! She also comes with a car load of people who love her and we're buying for the whole car. This was a total disappointment. You do not treat people this way. I will stop returning to these places that do not show me good customer service the first time around because it tells me something... First impressions are everything.
I have got to make a stand for myself and for my family against poor customer service because I am tired of seeing it everywhere I go. People need to treat people better and stop taking these Customer Service Jobs when they don't have a clue about what it means to serve...
Read moreI just recently moved to the area and was so excited there was a Zaxbys so close by. My first few experiences were okay, I ordered through the app and did curbside. What prompted me to do a review is that the last two times have been frustrating experiences. The food luckily is always good but the customer service makes me want to avoid going which is unfortunate because the food isnât the issue at all. I ordered on the app curbside because I had a migraine and I didnât feel like getting out and wanted it to be ready when I got there. I waited 10 to 20 mins before I decided to go inside, the guy working asked if I needed help and I explained I placed a curbside order and I have been waiting, let me also add, I tried calling but it said the vm box is full. My food was ready in the area as if I was coming inside to pick it up, he didnât apologize and failed to realize thatâs not how I placed my order, he just handed it to me and I left. This last time, I decide to go to the drive thru because I was on my way home and was hungry, she couldnât hear me at all even yelling and repeating myself through the ordering screen. I specifically said no slaw because of allergies but I feel like thatâs something that does not need to be explained just that I requested no slaw. I went to the window, could barely hear her, she took my payment, didnât double check or verify what I ordered, she pretty much threw the bag out to me and I left. No thank yous or anything. I get home and there is slaw so I cannot enjoy my meal. There is a reason why people rave about Chick-fil-A and Raising Canes because the customer service and quality of food is consistent. It just paints a poor reflection of Zaxbys and I know this is not to their standards or anyone. Just shows a lack of care so I will not be coming back. I would give it one star but again, the food is...
