There are not very many halal Chinese options in Dallas metro. A couple of locations permanently closed during Covid. This is a small dine-in restaurant with a capacity of less than 50 guests, but they offer carryout and delivery options. My wife and I arrived for dinner on a Monday at 4:30pm and had to wait outside for half an hour. Please take a note of the business hours. It opens at noon for lunch (until 3:30pm). Then, it reopens at 5pm for dinner (until 10pm). We ordered Chicken Manchurian, Chicken 65 with a side of Fried Rice. It took about 10 minutes to prepare the food. It was served hot with condiments and all items tasted great. Each serving was large enough for up to 2 guests or you would end up with leftover for carryout, unless you arrived famished and finished everything:-) Fair warning to everyone: Do not order anything more than "medium spicy", unless you are someone who chugs Tabasco to rehydrate after a workout, or you find jalapeños as bland as green peppers, or you consider habaneros as borderline spicy. I am unsure if they use ghost peppers to make things extra spicy for the select few. The chicken 65 was spicy as requested and it reminded me of the atomic sauce from Wing Stop. Not only did each bite brought tears of joy, my nostrils had cleared up completely by the time I finished the yummy chicken. Both she and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and we added this restaurant on our list of places to return sometime in the near future.

During my recent visit to Dallas had the opportunity to dine at Spice Wok in Richardson. It is a cozy little Restaurant with decent seating and a very courteous service crew, they make you “feel home” . By the way feel home doesn’t mean “you eat whats on the table or sleep on an empty stomach😜” the service crew guides you through the menu and attentively listens to your choice of items. We ordered Shrimp Pepper Salt, Hakka Noodles, Thai Red Curry, Mumbai Chili Fried Rice & washed that down with Mango Lassi. Best part they customise each order to your requested spice level. The Shrimp were perfectly done, right amount of spice and crunchiness. Hakka noodles were soft and flavourful. The Thai Red Curry was amazing and complimented the steamed rice, the phrase “it takes two tango” is apt to describe this combo. The Mumbai Chili Fried Rice the nature of the city it is named after! Vibrant & titallating your taste buds and the super star of the show Mango Lassi was “yeh dil maange more”!!! Overall it was a great experience would have loved an encore, unfortunately was scheduled to leave Dallas just the day after. In Sha Allah the next visit it should be on my “to do list”

Please AVOID if you are thinking of a takeout from here! The food is average (a hit or miss depending on your luck) but the service is terrible. The restaurant charges you extra fees for online ordering and pickup but they do not honor the pickup time that they have provided in the order. In my case, by the time I got my food at the restaurant, it was 1 hr and 25 min after the restaurant accepted the order in the ordering portal. That after I had to basically have them an ultimatum to either get the food ready ASAP or cancel it. I understand restaurants being busy on the weekends and stuff but then don't charge your customers more for online orders if you cannot assure quality and timely service. And weekends being busy cannot be used as an excuse by such restaurants which have been around for quite a long time. I am sure that if the restaurant does reply to this review, they are going to make that excuse, or something around those lines. Or they might only reply for the good reviews. They should have learned their lesson but I guess they haven't and still wouldn't. Please avoid!!! 0/5.

Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. We had been looking forward to ordering food from here, but it was really underwhelming. We picked dishes based on reviews, but our experience didn't match the glowing recommendations.

Manchow soup (chicken) - didn't receive chicken, was fine, but we don't really have a reference point. Not spicy, no specific flavor profile.

Chilli chicken momo - pretty good, not round. Different than momo we've had in other Nepalese restaurants, and not the best we've had so far.

Burnt garlic fried rice - probably had the least flavor of all the dishes we ordered. Didn't get much garlic flavor, either.

Coriander garlic chicken - didn't taste the coriander or garlic, was kind of a generic brown sauce.

Chicken Manchurian - nothing like other indo-chinese Manchurian dishes we've had, which are typically a sour/sweet/savory/spicy/unique experience. This was a brown sauce without much flavor.

Based on reviews, we exercised caution with the spice levels, but I didn't get much of a burn at all (and I'm not into super spicy foods).

We tried it all again as leftovers in case our taste buds were off, but nothing had changed. I'm so sad - indo-chinese is typically SO delicious, and the reviews are so good! I want to give it another try, but we definitely won't be ordering nearly as much just...

Finding a good halal Chinese restaurant in Dallas was a delight, and this spot did not disappoint. The ambiance was clean, cozy, and welcoming, setting the tone for a great dining experience.

The staff were incredibly friendly and offered thoughtful suggestions, ensuring we tried some of their best dishes. We started with the hot and sour soup, which had a great balance of flavors. On their recommendation, we also tried the fried Mammos—while it was a new experience for the kids and not their favorite, the dish itself was well-prepared and enjoyable.

I ordered the Mongolian beef, which had a unique twist compared to other Chinese restaurants. The flavor leaned heavier on the soy sauce than expected, but still offered a satisfying taste. The garlic chicken was packed with bold flavor and cooked perfectly. One standout moment was how accommodating the staff were—they made a special shrimp dish for my son, simple and without gravy, even though it wasn’t on the menu. Their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile made the experience truly memorable.

The service was excellent, and their commitment to customer satisfaction was clear throughout our visit. I’m definitely looking forward to returning and exploring more...
