I am very concerned about the oversight at this location. The server in the first picture wanted to limit our larger party to 4 checks when we needed 5. He noted that he had someone run out on him earlier. I wasn't aware of the entire situation until about 20 minutes later when I realized that the birthday party hadn't started, and we hadn't even got a glass of water. According to the manager in the second picture, this is not the policy. Was it what the server wanted? I didn't realize that the server created the company's policies. I provided the manager with my driver's license and my Platinum card.
This is not the first time we've ever been here with a large party, and we've never requested this before. However, if this will make him feel better, so be it. The manager, realizing that this was wrong, said no, no, that's okay, we'll get you served immediately. The food was late even after we had sat there for a good 40 minutes. The food needed to be the right spice. In other words, they were punishing us with hot food. And then food that we didn't receive at this large party because we know restaurants never make mistakes, right? He said that was our fault even though 5 minutes before I explained to him that we still had one more plate, he was still bringing out more food. I attempted to email corporate, hoping that I could have a conversation, and I got a copy-and-paste inquiry. Perhaps instead of assuming that everything is a complaint. They could reply please let us know about your compliment or your concern. I can certainly sympathize with the fact that sometimes things don't go as planned as far as tickets being missed and people not paying. However, making a pivot choice on the spot and smirking about it is a problem. I hope that they can do better. I'd requested a district or an operation manager contact me so I could voice my concerns and discuss the opportunities. All my requests were replied to by a form letter. The business card in the front should have an additional email for the district or the operation mailbox and an additional phone number. These folks were a little too comfortable making these pivot choices that were not customer-friendly. In other words, they don't have accountability because someone has to climb the mountain to get someone of accountability, like a district manager. I hope they figure it out.
They offered a 30% discount for transparency, and I increased the...

12/3/22 (UPDATE #3): The seafood boil here is still the best I've tried in DFW. They heat levels are appropriately labeled and the sauce here is what separates them from every other seafood boil place I've tried in DFW. The servers were friendly, but they were slow to serve tables despite the place being much emptier than usual. The music wasn't hitting like it normally does; it sounded like a "Biggest Ls of the 200s" playlist. Overall, this place is still the best of it's type in DFW.
4/9/22 (UPDATE #2): The food is still as good as ever. The crab-shrimp-and-corn-whole-shabang-mild-with-lemmon-pepper-fried-on-the-side combo is still my go-to. The service has been good as of late. I absolutely recommend this place, it's best seafood boil place I've tried in DFW.
11/2021 (UPDATE #1): The service is not nearly as good as it used to be. The host lacked awareness, seemed uninterested, and was slow. It was very frustrating that they wouldn't play audio from the Cowboys vs. Denver game despite the game being on ALL of their screens. If you're not going to play the audio, then DON'T PLAY THE GAME IN THE FREAKING SCREENS!!! Minus 2 stars for today's visit.
11/2017: I'd heard great things about this place, and I can see why. I had to wait for roughly 30 minutes to be seated, but it was totally worth it! The hostess was very friendly, and the waiter was friendly and did a great job of guiding us in making our food selection. The shrimp was huge and amazingly delicious, as was the crab. The corn was very good as well. The fries were surprisingly good as well, they had a unique flavor. I LOVE seafood and my girlfriend said I looked noticeably happy afterwards. Needless to say, I'll definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered 2 catfish basket it comes with fries with lemon pepper season or cajun season and cost $25.98. Hello owner of this place you need to teach your cooks that the fish fillets are to thick to try to cook them fast and whoever the cook was on January 10th 2024 at 7:00 pm didn't cook it all the way through it still had the jelly part inside of the fillet and the fries were very hard. I paid to much money to get food that was half undone and fries that are hard as rocks.. I don't even like the taste of the fish it taste like Asian cooked seafood like I ordered it from that restaurant on plano rd called b b q chicken. I'm black I'm used to just regular fried fish cooked in vegetable oil or canola oil. I don't like that wangy asian taste it leaves in my mouth l ended up throwing it in the trash can down the street at krogers and I went in there and bought me some cheddar goldfish to try to get rid of that Asian taste inside my mouth. Yall need to let people know what kind of oil you cook it with or something cause lll never order catfish from yall ever again. The only food that's good is the boil which the potatoes sometimes are half as done they need to be xooked longer too.. what are yall rushing for if a customer can't be patient and wait then o well they need to go get food somewhere else, yall need to get better at cooking the food all the way threw or else you will see more reviews like this about the food not being cooked all the way threw its the next day and my stomach is hurting some from eating half...
