12/26/24 The food was mediocre ( cold food sucks ), service subpar...watching my food sit in at the cashier register 3 minutes getting cold while all three waitresses wandered around after he rang the bell for food delivery all three looked directly at the food and still managed to refill all the drinks one at a time and the other cleaning tables. The third chose to check out someone at the register before bringing the food while it was hot. Hot food should have been a top priority. This is the final time for me. Three bad experiences back to back. Guess I should not have expected so much from a gas station restaurant.
08/02/2024 You would think after a record high temperature for the past month you would fix the air conditioner... 91° inside and 89° outside.
If you want a successful business, it needs to be a comfortable temperature for a good experience . I did not eat my food. I had to get it. Togo, it was so miserable. Our poor waitresses were sweating. Everyone knows sweaty people stink. No amount of deodorant could keep them from sweating, dripping off them to the food. YUCK
Food was excellent at home in the air conditioning. With no insects flying in my face. After I changed from my sweat soaked clothes.
07/01/02024 Overall experience was just okay. The food was tasty. The service was excellent. You're eating in a gas station. It's dirty. The windows are filthy. The floors are dirty, and the table is sticky. It's hot in that glass room. Even with a fan blowing, it was 87° and the flies and gnats are atrocious. Having to keep swatting fly insects before you can take a bite landing on your food is just outrageous. There are not enough seats in there because it was packed. People were walking in and then leaving because there was...
Read moreThe two men cooking food were great! My biscuits and gravy and pancakes were extremely tasty. The waitress was a lil off 😬 I asked her if I could have my biscuits grilled and she was like yeah they don't do that and then I looked at the guy cooking and asked him could I have my biscuits grilled and she told me that they don't speak English and he looked at me and said absolutely I can grill your biscuit for you. English seemed really good to me. I told the waitress that I needed two plates the same way and she only charged me for one which resulted in a separate charge and she charged me for cheese for both of them but I never received my cheese on either one of them. I was in the middle of placing my order and she told me that she had to go wait on tables before she could help me even though they were still waiting on more family to show up and I told her to just go ahead. I ordered the pancakes in the picture that look like it had banana in it and when I got them there was no fruit in the middle so I thought maybe I got it wrong and I said is that not banana in the middle of the pancakes advertised to which she responded to me I don't know it's just a picture. I mean you work there you should know what you sell. I ended up having to get my syrup , butter and my jellies off a table for all 4 plates I ordered. Had to ask for a fork for each order because I was only given one fork for 4 plates off food. 10 out of 10 I will definitely be back for those biscuits and gravy and we're from out of town. I'd post pictures but it was so good I ate it😋 before I took...
Read moreGreat spot. We had tried a couple times to get in while working on The Falcon Trail near Pfeiffer University and Alfredo's stays busy. They almost need a vacancy sign because every table is spot on with items from the quick and delicious menu. Went with my Dad and Godfather, where we all just ordered the same thing... Crunchy, hot, perfect fries and the burger was the best $6.95 around...
Added in photos of the Catfish and Jalapeno burger from our continued patronage - Still awesome!
I feel conflicted about leaving this review because more people are gonna know the not-so-secret service and quality of Alfredo's Grill. Now the line will be even longer... And...
