I was excited to try this place during our second trip to Richfield a few weeks ago on July 3rd. We sat down quickly but the table was so filthy (food and sticky) that we moved which wasn’t a big deal. We then waited 25 minutes for a menu and from that point about 35 minutes before a waitress came to the table. She was not willing to answer questions about the food, actually rolled her eyes when my husband asked about an item, and made it very clear that our presence in the restaurant was burdensome. I thought we were polite and patient and could not determine what we had done wrong for her to be so irritated. I did see her treating other customers in the same manner later. Once the food arrived it was barely edible. The chicken on the nachos was pressed chicken like you’d get from a bag of Tysons chicken strips premade for salads. The kind that has a texture of “fake meat.” Hard to explain it but it was not what you’d expect on a $14 dish. We had to ask for silverware and waited for it. We waited for water so long that I went in the bathroom and drank from the faucet. We will be making a lot of trips to Richfield in the next 2 years but will not visit this establishment again. The drinks were fine but not worth the rest of the experience.
Editing to add that it was not a very busy time when we were there. Many tables were open. The waitress alone was reason enough not to visit again. Despite the service I tipped but decreased it to 10%. I’ve been to a lot of small town bars and this was by far the worst...
Read moreMy sister and I were traveling from Nevada to Minnesota and ran into car troubles and stopped in Richfield. We had to be home and couldn't afford to wait around town until the car got repaired. We stopped in to have a beer and figure out how to get to Salt Lake City to catch a flight home. Thanks to the very friendly staff, we were able to put together a plan to get us home. (In case you're not aware, it's actually quite difficult to get out of this town if you're broke down). One bartender was even willing to give us an hour ride to catch a bus to get us going in the right direction if we weren't able to figure it out. Once we got our plans established, they gave us a ride back to our car to get our bags, check in to our hotel, and brought us back so we could enjoy Karaoke night. The food was delicious, the staff was beyond amazing, and the environment was great. The owner, Mark, and his staff (Tammy, Shalisse, Dan, Chloe, Casey, and Shaniah) made us feel welcome, and assured we would get home just fine. We're beyond grateful for breaking down where we did. I'll definitely make an special effort to stop by this place again when I'm...
Read moreWith the October, 14th Ring of Fire on the horizon, I felt the need to leave a review for 1st-time patrons who are considering this establishment.
First, let's talk about the food! There truly is almost no better place in town to get a delicious meal. It's always fresh, cooked perfectly, and always tasty. Not sure if they're still doing Sunday Brunch, but if they are, get there early because they make up an AMAZING steak & eggs combo. It's better than any of the steak houses in town, but they sell out quick.
Drinks: The brews are always great. I've never gotten a stale beer on tap! I have to admit, the Cocktails aren't the greatest but they get the job done. A good example is the margarita. It's okayyyy, but that's it. Other than that, shots and brews are on point.
Price: SUPER affordable for what you get, as far as food and drinks.
Atmosphere: Each time I've visited, I've had great experiences. The owner is very accommodating to all his patrons and always a good time when he makes an appearance.
If you can't decide where to go, this is a great place to consider and I don't think you'll be...
