Marli's Grille — Restaurant in Richfield

Had my usual ham & cheese omelette with hash browns and toast. The prices are competitive and better than some of the other diners in the area. This restaurant says they specialize in Mexican food, but their breakfasts are on par with American diners. The omelette and hash browns were very good, and served quickly. The ham they used is particularly salty, which surprised me. If you are on a sodium restricted diet, I would avoid this. A pet peev of mine is cutlery. Mis-matched cutlery, to me, can indicate that they bought them at a yard sale. Having matching cutlery shows me they care about their image and quality of their presentation. This place is horrible. Not only were the people horribly rude but they completely messed up our order which they knew and asked us to “pick out what we didn’t want”. We asked for it to be remade and they informed us we would have to wait over an hour for it to be fixed because they were backed up and it would go to the back of the orders. We said that wasn’t acceptable because we had already been waiting 45 min for the first order. So they said they would redo it after being extremely rude. After waiting another 25 min we asked for a refund. They argued with us about that and then the food finally came up and we left. The food wasn’t even great to begin with! I don't know how this place has a high rating. Really don't know why I expected better when you eating out of a convenience store. First impression waitress and cook was outside smoking. Did she go in and wash her hands absolutely not!!!! She was sulley at best. Price tag was 20.00 for garbage food. Small cup of cheese dip 3.00. Ordered guacamole got pico de gallo. 9.00 for slop. Told chips and salsa come with it was charged for it. Again this is what I should have expected for a convenience store. They must pay for the rating or none of these people have had Good Mexican food. A one star is really to many....
