This morning, just before the lunch rush, I decided to take a gander out into the snow to go check out our new Taco Bell for an information gathering session to learn about this new business that has been added to our community. Also, I am not going to lie, I was quite curious to be there when the store has only opened yesterday. Upon arrival, I got to have a very enlightening, friendly and informative conversation with the Store owner Mary and the GM Rob. They were both very polite and professional. I then ordered my brunch, a tasty Mexican Pizza, some chicken nuggets, a Chalupa Supreme and for a drink a Midnight Cherry Freeze. The restaurant was clean and very welcoming.
You may wonder, how could a Mexican restaurant do nuggets but believe me when I say these are not your typical blah affair, they are more like boneless wings and the flavor is quite delicious. The Limited edition crispy chicken nuggets, while not Taco Bell's first venture into chicken, do not disappoint and the fire ranch provides a nice kick. Although I got them with fire ranch, if you want less spice, they also have a Jalapeno honey mustard sauce and a Bell sauce, I will have to try them next time I get their nuggets.
The Chalupa supreme did not disappoint, that flaky crisp texture a chalupa shell brings really hits the spot. I personally as an avid fan of Taco Bell's fire sauce enjoyed this with some of their signature sauce to give it that added kick I love so much. They of course are well stocked in their other sauce options if you prefer something with a bit less kick.
The Traditional Taco Bell beef Mexican pizza also did not disappoint. That classic taco bell flavor we all have come to know and expect shines through, the fire sauce I added gave it that kick I have loved for years. And the crispness was delicious as we have come to expect from Taco Bell.
Lastly but definitely not least at all, I brought it all together with a refreshing Midnight Cherry Freeze. Freezes have that nice little pizzazz on your tongue every time you take a sip and this flavor did not disappoint.
To conclude, I really enjoyed that they didn't even flinch at my service dog or even feel the need to ask and so once I was done with my meal, I thanked them for their time and the tasty meal and their wonderful reception and bid them adieu. Looking forward to many more purchases from this store in the years to come.
For those of you that don't already know the Grand Opening is the day after Christmas on Thursday the 26th of December, I highly recommend you check this new business out if you haven't already. The fare is well worth it and the value is there as we have come to expect...
Read moreNo one at the counter to place order with so I had to use the kiosk. Was asked can I help you after doing so probably 10 minutes at least before being acknowledged. I said I've ordered I need to pay. Manager proceeds to walk away. Several minutes later someone else asks and I again say I needed to pay. They also walked off. Finally the same manager come up and I explained I ordered I needed to pay. She said they didn't start food because I didn't pay yet. Not an option on kiosk. I told her the gentleman that just came in needed to change his gloves because he was playing with his hair and the woman that went to the cooler also needed to change her gloves because she walked away from counter. Told her to cancel that order because I wouldn't be eating here. Could give names because no one is...
Read moreOrdered my tenth order that was faulty in a row. I am unsure why I keep trying with this restaurant. Last time I was in there to try to claim a free meal for the 9 times they screwed mine up, they told me "your not in the book". I had even talked directly to the manager over the phone prior about the issues.
Please avoid this restaurant, they do not care about your order, I wish it wasn't this bad. I love Taco Bell, it was the first restaurant I ate at when I was 2 years old. Skip this Taco Bell and go to Horseheads or Williamsport.
Note: I ordered 2 beefy 5 layer burritos, 2 gordita crunches and 1 chicken taco (whatever it's called). I specifically asked for no sour cream in anything. They messed that up that simple request. So now I have to seek a refund, and go find food...
