I ordered to go in the app and ordered the Riblet plate with French Fries. It tasted great. UPDATE:. May 1, 2022-I dined in this time. They still offer great food. I ordered the Chicken Won Ton Tacos. It was delicious. It tasted so good, I forgot to take a picture! I will do so the next time! UPDATE:. August 7, 2022-This time, I ordered from the app. I ordered the Chicken Won Ton Tacos again. I also got a Diet Pepsi. When I got home, I found they were not assembled. The shells were there, but the chicken was in one container, the slaw in another, sauce in another, and the lime in another. I expected them to be already assembled, but once they were assembled, they were good. UPDATE,:. December 8, 2022-I ordered from the app this time again. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Scampi Skillet and Diet Pepsi. It was delicious. It also tasted and smelled great. I couldn't wait to taste it. It had grilled chicken, shrimp on top of mashed potatoes, along with broccoli. It is a limited time item, and it should be a permanent part of the menu. I ordered this after having trouble with the O'Charleys app. It was working so slow that I couldn't place my order. UPDATE: June 24, 2023-I hadn't ordered Applebee's for a while, so I decided to do so this evening. I ordered the Neighborhood Beef Nachos and a Diet Pepsi. It was good, but I was unhappy about the toppings. They were all in separate containers, so I had to assemble it myself. The end result looked nice. The green peppers were so hot that I couldn't eat the rest of them. Diet Pepsi was not enough to cool my mouth down, so I had to have a glass of milk. Next time, I will order it without the green peppers. UPDATE: February 11, 2025-It has been a while since I ordered from Applebee's, and I had a $5 gift card I earned from AARP, so I decided to use it. I ordered the Big Cluckin' Chicken Sandwich, along with French Fries, and a Diet Pepsi. The sandwich was good, but it had such a big chicken patty that I couldn't eat it all. UPDATE: May 3, 2025-I earned a free dessert for my birthday, so I ordered a half rack of Double Glazed Baby Back Ribs, along with French Fries. For my free dessert, I ordered the Brownie Bite. It was all delicious and...
Read moreWe went in on Monday evening at 10:50pm. When we arrived we were seated in a timely manner and ordered our drinks and food after about 10 minutes. The food was good as usual but at around 11:20 the music cut off and the staff played Jojo Siwa's song 'Karma' 4 times in a row. It was very blatant because after the song played for the 3rd time the radio returned to normal and began playing a different song and then was abruptly cut off to play the song for a 4th time, the staff standing around the bar area looked over at our table repeatedly and giggled each time the song started over. It was pretty clear whoever was controlling the speakers was trying to get us to leave, the repetition of the song even caused a group sat behind us to leave, I know because we all joked about the song replaying over and over. That was just a minor inconvenience and only mildly annoying. What lead me to write this review is the fact that my burger had a whole peppercorn about the size of a bracelet bead in the middle of it and had I not been done eating there was a good chance I could have bitten it and damaged my teeth. I explained the situation to the manager and they confirmed it was a pepper of some kind and removed the charge from the total and replaced it which was greatly appreciated.
The manager was great but I think Applebee's needs to have a good look at their employee's because not only were staff members trying to drive customers out by replaying a terrible song; I also don't believe a peppercorn could have somehow fallen into my burger before it was put together, someone surely would have noticed a large black dot right the middle of it. I think someone blatantly put the peppercorn in the middle of it hoping I would bite it and hurt myself.
I'm not trying to get coupons or free food either, I just want you to look into the quality of your staff and to let people know my experience and what they should...
Read moreI ordered To Go by a web page on my phone. All appeared to be fine at point, as the ordering and checkout process was pretty painless. I was given a pickup time of 8:20pm, about 20 minutes from my order time. So far, so good.
Then I entered the actual restaurant. There was nobody at te To Go Pickup and Carside Delivery station. I arrived between 8:10 an 8:15, at least 5010 minutes early.
I *finally flagged down and got the attention of this young lady, and told her to take care of the other guy waiting, who has been there 40 minutes, only to find out that his meal was lost and he was SOL.
She finally returned to me, only to tell me it was my responsibility to retrieve my own meal from the wire rack containing multiple to go orders. No verification as the ordering website said, not even a credit card or ID/DL confirmation. All the while, she was short tempered, curt and basically unpleasant.
My order was simply;e: BBQ ribs, fries and coleslaw. The slaw was minuscule (maybe 1/8 of a cup in a plastic tub usually used for ketchup in most places. The fries I checked as soon as I got in the car, and they were ice cold! Clearly, my meal had sat on that shelf for probably most of the 20 minutes I was told to wait.
The ribs were OK, nothing to write home about. While relatively warm, the meat-to-bone ratio was extrely low.
So maybe the in-restaurant service and food is better. I honestly have no idea. The last time I ate in-house there, about 5-6 years ago, they almost killed my husband by not disclosing all ingredients beforeproperly (he was severely allergic to onions, required an Epi-Pen shot and a visit to the ER) because they were buried about 10 levels deep on their electronic menu/ordering tablet.
If you are a fan great! Keep going there. If you haven’t been, I would do some research first. To be sure what you are getting. Personally, I will never darken...
