KFC — Restaurant in Richmond

The chicken sandwiches are as good as the chicken dinners. One side of fries was free from the app by spending $6. Wish one could go in because they have a great buffet. UPDATE:. I can not believe it has been a year since my last review. I know I have been in since. This time, I ordered the 3 piece Chicken Tenders Combo with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, a Biscuit, and a Diet Pepsi. It tasted good, but I would have liked a meal with a breast and leg. What I would like to know is can people dine in. I know they don't have the buffet open, because I looked in and saw nothing on it. The buffet was delicious. I hope it doesn't close. UPDATE: July 4, 2023- It has been about since December when I did my last review here. I received an email about their new Ultimate BBQ Chicken Sandwich, and I had to try it. I wanted a combo, which would have been cheaper, but the only drink available for a combo was Blackberry Lemonade, which didn't sound too good. I had to order each item individually. I also ordered the Ultimate Recipe Fries and a Diet Pepsi. The BBQ sandwich was great. Besides the chicken and BBQ sauce, it also had on it bacon, cheese, and a pickle. It is a limited time only item, but I think it should be on the menu full time. UPDATE: September 28, 2023-I went there the other day and ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Secret Recipe Fries, and Diet Pepsi. It was delicious! I just wish it had cheese on it. When I went to the drive thru window to pick up my order, I looked inside. There was no one eating inside, and the buffet was blocked off, so they may not have a buffet anymore. They got a new sign outside,but that isn't enough. They need business inside. UPDATE: January 11, 2024-It had been a while since I had KFC, so I decided to order a meal. I noticed in the app there was an offer for a free chicken wrap. All you had to spend was a minimum of $1! I decided to order a Classic KFC Wrap, Secret Ingredient Fries, and a Diet Pepsi. The wrap was delicious, but I wish it was bigger. It was small. Next time, I might order two and make it a meal. UPDATE: February 3, 2024-KFC has updated their app, so you can now get points when you order, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Smash'd Potato Bowl with Nuggets and a Diet Pepsi. The app worked, and I got my points. A Smash'd Potato Bowl is mashed potatoes with cheese sauce on it and their Secret Ingredient Fries in it. I ordered mine with their Chicken Nuggets, just so I could have some chicken in it. It was delicious, and I am willing to order it again. UPDATE: March 20, 2024-KFC keeps trying new things to get people in, and now they have come up with something different: the Chizza, which is four pieces of chicken topped with sauce, cheese and pepperoni, just like a pizza. The only thing different is that this location ran out of pepperoni, and they couldn't get any more, but still just as good. Eating this was like eating a handheld Chicken Parmesan. The combo came with Secret Ingredient Fries and Diet Pepsi. It was delicious, and I am willing to order it again. UPDATE: July 13 and 15, 2024-KFC is still trying new items, and now they got another new item: the Saucy Chicken Sandwich, which comes in three flavors: Honey BBQ, Korean BBQ, and Honey Sriracha. The Korean BBQ sounded good, so I ordered it on the app, along with Secret Ingredient Fries, and Pepsi Zero. When I got home and opened up my order, I discovered I got the Korean BBQ Saucy Chicken Nuggets, instead of the Korean BBQ Saucy Chicken Sandwich. I was pressed for time and didn't have time to go back and get the correct item, so I ate it. I later called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. He said that was 100% his fault, and it was a new item, and he wasn't used to making it. He said he would give me a free meal. It was terrible! We waited at order box on drive thru five minutes then i said Hi Im ready ,n. A voice saidHold on a minute Ill be with you. Afterfour more min she asked for the order. I said 2 # 8 with diet Pepsi no ice. She repeated it back then 2 minutes gave me the total and said pull forward. I watched in window and realized only 3 people were working. 5 min later got my drinks with ice'., 6 minutes got my food . she apologized for the long wait and said they were under staffed. We drove 2 miles to the park got out our meals., which were 5 piece tenders, mashed potatoes,cole slaw and biscuit. BUT both meals were missing cole slaw and one. Was missing the fifth tender. Frustrated I called the phone number on reciept rang 12 times when answered I explained the missing food items and she said So what's the problem? I said never mind and hung up. Went there for a quick dinner tonight. Ordered a 8 piece extra crispy family meal. After ordering and waiting in line for 15 minutes, we finally got to the window, where the lady notified me that they didn’t have extra crispy and it would be a 20 minute wait, I said it was fine, I’ll just take regular even though it wasn’t fine, the regular is never good, just didn’t want to wait even longer than I already had. I had kids that were hungry. She finally hands me the bag after another 10 minutes and tells me to have a great day, I check inside the bag and the biscuits are missing…she then says it’s going to be an 11 minute wait on biscuits. So she knew there was no biscuits, was just hoping I wouldn’t check and would just leave. She gave me 2 sides instead, which was nice. I get home and this chicken……..disgusting. Swimming in oil and SOGGY as can be. Half the skin fell off from being so wet. Almost $40 dollars for inedible food…again(this wasn’t the first time). It’s my own fault for continuing to go back.
