Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Richmond

I can say I love this place! But unfortunately my boyfriend had put a online order in to be delivered off of DoorDash, we really like the jalapeño bagel but they no longer have a option for it online so he decided to call to have the bagel replaced. When they had answered and gave the phone to the person we needed to talk to the guy on the phone had claimed he had already made the order and he can not charge the bagel it’s only been 3 minutes so not sure why the order would already be done, when we asked for the manager he said he was the manager, when we asked if he can remake the order he said whatever I’ll remake the order we are just losing money from what we already made, he was very rude and would not give his name, you would think a manager would be more concerned on how the customer feel’s instead of losing money. Very disappointing. That will be the last time we order from this location ever again. Hopefully no one has to experience this unkind and...

Every time I visit this location, the food is absolutely delicious and always fresh. I usually order the All-Nighter breakfast sandwich (I’m still learning all the menu names), and it’s prepared just the way I like it. A friendly team member even let me know about signing up for rewards to earn points toward my balance, which was a nice touch.

Their selection of fresh pastries and bagels is huge—you’ll have a hard time choosing just one. I haven’t tried a plain bagel with cream cheese yet, but it’s on my list for next time. I’ve also had their caramel frappuccino, and it’s amazing—the coffee tastes fresh, the flavor of the beans really comes through, and it’s always beautifully presented.

This place has great bagels but the service is always hit and miss. Employees always so dismal and borderline rude. For instance during my last experience on a Sunday morning I ordered a couple sandwiches and some lose bagels. The lose bagels were in a bag where they just fit and did not want to put a container of cream cheese container in the same bag touching food. The cashier offered a small bag for it but I interjected asking for a larger bag to hold all three things ordered. She just seemed like I was putting her out. Additionally one of the sandwiches was missing components. When I mentioned it was told "we are out of that" and he turned away looking...
