Well I'm in Richmond Maine place I never thought I would be eating at a restaurant called Kimberly's. It was under different ownership and she was a waitress here and she ended up buying the restaurant and now she makes delicious food in said restaurant. This may sound weird but I really like eggy French toast. I got exactly what I wanted Iggy French toast covered with butter and served with a bottle of pure maple syrup. It was delicious and the people that I had breakfast with had their eggs and toast and potato special and absolutely loved it. Of course the one Oddball out had lunch for breakfast but she got a grilled cheese sandwich with pickle chips and absolutely loved it. There's homemade bread that all dishes came with and they're on baked goods in the store clearly the woman knows her baking. People at other tables had corned beef hash somebody had a strawberry waffle they all were singing praises. Must visit. So if you're in Richmond Maine this is a place to come for breakfast and I'm guessing lunch and dinner probably just as good. And this used to be an old funeral home and it has a lot of character I think that it's definitely...
Read moreOur experience was horrible, let me explain the rating. We were seated quickly, got our drinks, nice side salad and homemade bread quickly. That was fine. I ordered sirloin tips, medium rare and baked potato. My husband fried haddock. After 40 minutes...no food. We grabbed our waitress and she went to check, went to their order terminal and came back and said it would be shortly. I believe she didn't enter the order. After 15 more minutes, so now close to an hour our food comes out. My husband's was good. Hot and tasty. My sirloin tips were well done. Called the waitress back and showed her and she ordered me new ones. After about 10 more minutes My second order came out and again, most were well done. I didn't eat them. Our waitress was very apologetic and took them off the bill and they comped our desserts. She made our...
Read moreService was good. Even though was very busy, the waitress was very attentive. The baked fish with Ritz crackers and onions was very good. I got the queen sized prime rib which was one of their specials. I have eaten a lot of prime rib through many of my travels abd this one was the worst prime rib that I have ever had. It was tougher than shoe leather. Prime rib should be tender with some spots that may be a little tougher. I took a couple of bites from different areas of the rib but it was tough all over. I ate less than half of it on and considering the price of beef, you know that I must have been unhappy with it. If I was alone, I would have sent it back but i did not want to make the person with me feel uncomfortable. Bottom line dont order the prime rib unless you want to chew and chew and chew each little...
