The food here is delicious. It’s one of my family’s favorite places to get pupusas and other salvadorean food. The prices are decent and the serving sizes are generous. They also give you plenty of curtido and salsa so you don’t have to keep asking. The baby high chairs are very clean which is a plus. We had no issues having our daughter sit in one of them. Last Friday we went and decided to dine in for the first time since COVID started and we had a different experience. The food was still great however they had a live performer that was really loud. We couldn’t talk to each other because it was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. We had to basically yell so our server could understand what we wanted to order. Not only was this performer loud, she was vulgar. I don’t think I was prepared to hear so many curse words every other word during what was supposed to be a family dinner. It was 7pm! The friend of the lady singing came around asking for money to support the lady since she was recently unemployed. If that’s the case, they should’ve given her a job working at the restaurant. That would’ve been more productive and less painful for us. We would’ve taken our food to go like we usually do but we wanted to enjoy our pupusas while they were still hot and our baby was starting to get hangry. If you want to avoid the experience we had don’t go Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 7pm....
Read moreI am sadly disappointed in this place. A few weeks ago I went to eat here and I found a hair in my food. I complained and did not have to pay for the meal. I came back today to order some food to go so I had a chance to take a quick pick at the kitchen and pointed out to the owner of the business that this place was better when the people in the kitchen used to wear hair nets and that to see them working in the kitchen with such carelessness today (no gloves or hair nets)it was disappointing. She pointed out that the kitchen workers refused to wear hear nets and that there is nothing she could do about it and that she wasn't going to bother with it. I politely expressed my frustration. I ordered a breakfast to go and as I was eating it I found a piece of a toothpick (or peace of a wooden spoon) in the casamiento (rice & beans mix) as shown in the picture (case in point). This peace of wood has absolutely NO place in the casamiento for God's sake! Having been a loyal client to this place for many years I can say it used to be the difference in the community as far as quality and service and now its just heart breaking a below average spot, poor at best. The quality of the food and service has dramatically declined to...
Read moreI only recommend this place because of LUIGI!!!!!! Unfortunately I only give it 2 stars because of him. These owners need to do something about the rest of the crew, they are just standing there looking bored AF and this guy Luigi is running back and forth doing everything. It was so busy and no one helped him. after waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to come to our table I asked my husband to go ahead and ASK the girl with the pink hair for our menus because apparently no one saw us for 20 minutes just sitting there. She gave the menus to my husband and as he walked back to the table she followed him, when he sat down she said...... do you guys know what you want already or would you like more time? REALLY!!!!!! well we ordered our drinks and food on the spot, she then brought the drinks except for my coffee, and after ANOTHER 30 MINUTES we left because THEY DID NOT GET OUR FOOD, NOR MY COFFEE........... TO THE OWNERS,,, THAT'S MONEY WALKING AWAY FROM YOU. Sigue con tu buen servicio Luigi eres lo único que vale la pena ahy...
