I am so disappointed to share this review of what I was hoping would be one of my favorite special occasion places to eat. My husband and I stopped at Seaside Prime on whim around 3 months ago. We sat at the bar and had such a fantastic time. We ordered a dozen raw Blue Point oysters and a bottle of wine and were delighted at how fresh the Blue Points were. When my husband asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday dinner, of course I chose Seaside. I made a reservation, we showed up at 630pm, which was the time of our reservation, sat at a table in the bar area and were surprised it wasn't busier. It took our waitress 15 minutes to approach the table and get our drink orders. We ordered the Blue Points again, and again they were fabulous. Unfortunately, that was the last time I had a smile on my face. They brought bread out, which was cold and swimming in moderately warm butter. Our entrees came out and mine was wrong. I ordered shrimp scampi and was presented with fried shrimp. My husband's entree was correct, but I didn't want his meal to get cold waiting for mine. We were unable to eat dinner together. In the meantime, the GM walked by our table no less than 3 times. I would have thought he would have at least noticed that I had no entree in front of me and stopped to ask what was going on. He did not. He was much too concentrated on his friends that were at the end of the bar than to notice something as trivial as one person having an entree and the other not. My shrimp scampi came out and it looked like shrimp soup. Here is the description from their menu as to what it should have been: Shrimp Scampi (5), served over linguine $31.00. Simple. Refined, not difficult. In this review I have posted pictures of what my scampi looked like. I ate the shrimp because I was hungry, but that is it. When I had our waitress take the entire bowl of pasta that I didn't touch, she never bothered to ask why. We asked for our check, paid and left. When you spend $150.00 on dinner for two, most of the time you expect it to be at least good, if not great or excellent. This meal was mediocre at best.Very disappointed that this was how a special occasion dinner went.

Anniversary Dinner. There a few take-a-ways here. We were seated right away at the time we reserved which is a plus. We were greeted by our server and busser almost immediately. Water poured and their delicious fresh bread graced the table. Delightful! Our appetizers of Lobster Cargot and Arancini were fantastic no complaints there at all. We had a few questions for our server and she was knowledgeable. I asked about the Cappino, she said it is very good. I asked what people are saying about it she said people rave about it and ask for the recipe or try to recreate it! That was a really great sell because it's $44.00. I ordered it. My husband got the Crab crusted Grouper and Broadway Potatos. Everything came out in a timely manner. I was a bit thrown off as the Cappino didn't come with bread of any kind. The bowl was huge but didn't seem like there was enough in it to have that much empty space. The Grouper and potatos looked devine. I was excited about the Cappino and sipped the broth, it was bland which I found odd because it didn't even taste like tomato or fish broth, just water. No salt, nothing. I tried the shrimp, over done. Mussel, it was ok. The Squid tentacles can only be described as if I were biting into and through a chicken bone. This was a whole other experience for me as there are no actual bones here. Same texture. At this point I am contemplating my life choices while swallowing my fears and dare to try anything else? Yes! Of course I chose the wrong thing and picked up a clam! Still trying to save the evening I pluck it from its shell and pop it into my mouth only to have a mouth full of mud to ensure my meal is complete. As my husband flags down our waitress and I run to the bathroom shortly after that to get rid of what I could not save to show to the chef. The $44.00 credit and free Anniversary dessert would never be enough to get me to trust this restaurant again. It's a shame because we have enjoyed their food before. If it wasn't for the abhorrent disregard for the health and welfare of your customers I think that it would have been an otherwise lovely night.

First impression is the decor is relaxed and fun but still classy. The hostess was friendly. The restaurant was very clean. Our waitress, Jan, was bubbly. Friendly and knowledgeable. She was present enough to make sure we were taken care of and didn't need anything, but not hovering, which was nice. She even went the extra mile on my dirty martini and stuffed the olives with jalapeno peppers because I mentioned how much I love them. The table busser, Ben, never stops. He's a huge asset. Always walking around making sure nobody needs anything and kept our table clean. Jake, who showed up a short time later, had an energetic personality and was also obviously a very hard worker. Overall the wait staff is incredible. The bread is beyond addictive. I could eat that for days. I had the stormy night martini which is incredible. My wife had the pomegranate martini which was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. There was a butter with a slight hint of onion that was pleasant but not overpowering. The crab legs were cooked perfectly. My wife melted when she tried the Broadway shrimp. The Broadway potatoes were crispy on the outside. Soft on the inside, rich, buttery and delicious. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about this dining experience. Seaside prime should be considered a blueprint for what a dining establishment should be. And I'm not easy to please.

Food is not 5 star Went there on Sunday March 17, 2024, reservations 7:30pm for our daughter's 16th birthday. She wanted Seafood. We love Paisano's, so we figured we could not go wrong wrong here! We were wrong 😥 I would of sent everything back , except the appetizer, if it was not for being our daughter's birthday and she was looking forward to this day and 1st experience at Seafood Steak.and prime . My daughter's portion was pitiful, for the price . Paisanos is known for the portions , not to people leaving hungry. The side tasted frozen . THE SERVICE CHEF AND BUS PERSON When we got to the restaurant we were sat in the bar area ,I was quite confused seeing as our daughter is 16 and every table in the front of the resturant was open and empty .There was about 4 tables with customers in the bar area , it was loud , I just felt as a Hostess "WHY?' Seat a couple with a minor in bar area with all.adults!? I know why,1 they already did side work for front tables. The tables in bar area were getting ready to leave , and they could start getting ready to to end of shift duties , in that area because we were the onlt table in there.so When they close can get out of the restaurant faster .( I get it) but make sure your customers don't notice and still get 5 star treatment . Once the tables left and it was just us , Boy let me tell you End of shift duties seemed to kick in with your employees. The server would come check in on us periodically, then came and dropped each of us a another drink.off when we each had a half glass and one full glass of soda. So now we have sub par food 2 in half drinks each on our table. The Server and Bus person were friendly and nice., but they chose to do side work instead of maintaining customers satisfaction and food quality As what I thought Paisanos us known for!🤷‍♀️ I just think your employees need a training on food quality , when and when not to do server side work. Doing side work, training, allowing sub par food to hit the table .

Atmosphere⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . You are walking up to a cute little cottage like setting Walk in the door and immediately feel a warm comfortable atmosphere, so much to look at The food tho😌🙅‍♀️ 2⭐️⭐️ The bread 🍞 It came in shallow bowl, had good flavor, but only the top two pieces were able to be eaten. The pieces on the bottom were so soaked in olive oil that it was soggy and nasty Appitizer🍛 Baked ravioli Fantastic, the only reason for 2 ⭐️ Ordering 📓 Everything was smooth, excep! Why is only grilled onions offered with a bake potatoes? FOOD🥴 ordered Seafood bisque, soup was luke warm, bowl hot. Soup came with main meal as asked. I ate three bites ( ick) New York strip No season , Everything Ala Cart Baked potatoe , was small amd warm 😕only gets shredded parm, and butter. And grilled onions????( so confused) SEAFOOD BOIL 1 little crab cut in half legs, little mussels. shrimp Potoae,s ok Shrimp 3 , and oily The bowl was so full of a butter sauce or olive oil sauce it was more if a soup. This was more of appetizer than a meal. She said it was ok, nothing special but would never want to come here again . Chocolate cake Was super cold, seemed old She took one bite and asked if she could take it home. This whole experience was very disappointing for us . The atmosphere can not make up for the the sup par experience your team gave our daughter for her 16 birthday. This is the chefs, server and mainly manager. Who was managing these employees. Why did they feel it was ok to start shutting restaurant down at 745pm when you do not close until 9pm.? Is this common practice? Do better Seaside...
