The service was friendly. After I had a better Reuben some place else, I came to Stella for cobbler. They only had peach cobbler that night. I suspect this was a frozen cobbler from a supplier. Of the two pieces of peach in my serving, one was not ripe and one was miniscule. The dough was thick and seemed not done. I suggest you contract with the Fancy Donut for your locally sourced supplier.
The new Stella's is open, clean and bright. The menu is American, with a variety of sandwiches under $10. The staff is friendly and service is quick. I judge restaurants by their Reubens and Stella's rates very high. They have a lunch buffet which is $10 for seniors. The second time I went, the buffet was half the size it was at my...
Read moreThe breakfast buffet is very expensive and not worth the money. The eggs are well done, had been sitting in the warming pan for who knows how long. The biscuits were hard and black on the bottom. The bacon was well done and overcooked. The gravy had no flavor and tasted like it was out of a packet that you just add water. The fried potatoes were greasy, and also well done. The only thing that I enjoyed was the waffle and the coffee. It would be nice to rotate out the food every 30 minutes or so, with eggs, bacon and gravy that was hot and freshly cooked. Who knows how long all the food had been sitting under the...

Food dropped off and never saw her again, a new bartender came out and refilled my water and brought check. Check was 33 bucks for two tiny wings, and two breast, two orders of mashed potatoes and two green beans. Never offered rolls. Chicken breast was very good. Wasn't a...
