I spent almost $20 on a bowl, not including delivery through a third party app— already annoyed when salad places have additional charges for basic & cheap ingredients like broccoli, extra annoyed when my $0.60 upcharge is 3 florets of broccoli. Whatever, that’s on me, portion sizes aren’t the best for the price, I’ll chalk that up to a learning experience.
The real reason for my review, however, is that the people who made my bowl did not include a) 2 of my uncharged veggies, so I spent an extra $1.20 for fun I guess and b) the entire protein for my steak ceasar salad. There also isn’t enough ceasar dressing for the amount of kale & greens I received so I’m currently enjoying an extremely dry salad featuring 3 cherry tomatoes, 3 broccoli florets, romaine stems, some parmesan cheese crisps (not helping the dryness)… and the solution?
Well, I’m thankful I ordered through a third party as there is no way to contact anyone at sweetgreen. If you call, you’re asked to go to the website, go to the contact section (very small on the front page) and then talk to an AI chatbot that will urge you to write an email to sweetgreen corporate and receive an answer between 9AM-5PM Mon-Fri. Super unhelpful for me trying to order food on Sunday and get the thing I ordered. If there was any way to get in touch with the business that would be awesome— so I could have had some sort of timely resolution instead of hoping someone at sweetgreen gets back to me next week. Doesn’t really help me today, while I’m on a time crunch with an extremely disappointing lunch.

He shrugged his shoulders at me when I ask who’s the manager and presented my problem. The server for the salad bowl also displayed unprofessionalism. She sarcastically asked have I been helped yet after the “manager” Ryan asked me with an attitude “what are you not getting so I can weigh it”. The server surcharged for 2 items and that I did not request for. She thought I got meat and olive oil and I’m vegan and mentioned nothing about meat. Read moreThe food was delicious. Store was definitely understaffed on opening day and I felt terrible for the poor folks trying to keep up at dinner time with the never ending line. Like the other reviewer, we ordered fries knowing we would have to wait, but when the next batch came out, we were forgotten about while others behind us in line got theirs and I was then told I’d have to wait for another batch to come out which takes about 20 minutes or so. I’m not going to leave a bad review when I knew what I was doing going in on opening day. The folks working there were nice enough and apologetic.
